Please read this carefully and take it into heavy consideration before even attempting to contact this law firm, litigation is a very serious matter and this is not a firm equipped to handle this type of work. I own several businesses, I hired them to deal with a simple business matter in which we were seeking to finalize a settlement with another party for the amount of $20,000 most of the leg work had already been done. We hired Vethan Law Firm because we knew an attorney there by the name of David Bergen whom then introduced us to Charles Vethan. They turned our $20,000 case into a $250,000 lawsuit with no regard for the information we provided them with. This resulted in what was a calm disagreement to a wave of billable charges from Vethan Law Firm resulting in us having to pay them more than what our case was even worth. After we ran out of money Charles Vethan then had his firm withdraw from our case leaving us with nothing. I am now in the process of filing grievance with the State Bar of Texas as they breached their fiduciary duties to us, their client. I heavily advise you keep your distance from this firm. They also have very high turnover, our case went thru 3 attorneys. They will overbill you until you can not go anymore, please do research into any other firm and interview the attorney before you hire them. If you have already employed them in the past and had a similar experience please reach out the State Bar of Texas and make them aware of this firms business practices.

I represent a client in California that needed counsel in Houston, Texas. I hired the Vethan Law Firm to represent the client and I worked primarily with Joseph Colvin. He got the case dismissed at the pleading stage. Although the plaintiffs filed an appeal, they knew they had little chance of succeeding, and Joseph was able to negotiate a very favorable settlement that saved my client alot of time and attorney fees. The firm does excellent work and I would not hesitate to hire them again.
