Doug Downing is the best there is! If you want a cool, calm, and collected attorney who will hear you out—he is your guy! He is the most honest and upfront attorney I have met. He is not fueled by ego or a monetary agenda. He truly is there to help however he can. He has a passion for what he does and for helping his clients. That is obvious in his work. I rest assured knowing that I have an ethical and trustworthy attorney. Thank you Doug Downing for everything you do daily to help your clients achieve their goals.

I dont dislike Andrew Tatgenhorst as a person even though he does appear very bored and generally disgruntled. However, I do have experience with him as opposing counsel and my genuine feeling/opinion is that he’s bad for kids. Andrew ramps things up, serving only himself in legal fees, and seemingly has no sight of the child at the core of the dispute. Thus, districts are paying taxpayer dollars to Andrew’s attitude rather than to children’s services. I didn’t find Andrew to be incredibly honest, the opposite in my experiences. I also noted that Andrew focused quite a lot (perhaps exclusively) on extraneous things that did not serve the child or resolution but designed to malign the student and/or their family. Unfortunately, I also witnessed harmful tactics. I would hope school districts would partner with solution oriented, student centered firms who can advance mutual interests and needs, support children, and save taxpayer dollars. I did not feel like this was the case with Andrew and Thompson Horton.

Dealing with the passing of loved ones are never easy but Rebecca was amazing from start to finish. I'm so thankful for her and the team that helped me through this stressful process. I will always recommend Rebecca and her team!

Would never pay these unethical and immoral clowns to represent me. I prefer ones who abide by the law instead of side stepping it.

Imagine a Law Firm that teaches people how to get around the law. Isn’t there some type of legal ethics involved here?
