Patton Title Company in Houston is unfit to practice. Their service is slapdash and unprofessional. Their relationships with third party companies are not fit for purpose. Their communication with clients is appalling, they try to charge for services they have failed to provide and they do not understand basic Texas Law.

I wish I could give this company negative stars. I have closed on multiple properties with multiple different title companies and this company takes the cake. There communication is atrocious, email after email, call after call with no response. The afternoon the day of closing I had to call them to see if the paperwork was in line and schedule a time for signatures. In my opinion I would not only never use this company. I would let everyone you know not to use this company and save them the head ache of dealing with Patten Title.

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional title company. They do not respond to emails or phone calls and when you do finally get them on the phone, they are just rude. I have been a realtor for 5 years with over 100 transactions and I have never dealt with a title company like this. I highly recommend to use one that appreciates your business, communicates well, and is professional, which this one is not.
