We first hired John in 2017 to help us along our immigration journey. At the time, I lived in the US and my then girlfriend lived in Viet Nam. She'd already been denied 2 student visas to the US. Now, I work on multi-million dollar construction projects. I can read and understand legal documents. I also understand when it is time to hire a subject matter expert. With a fiance visa, emotions are running high, people don't always think straight. When it comes to immigration there are hundreds of rumors. My wife came from Viet Nam. We couldn't get lunch at a restaurant in Viet Nam without someone sharing some story about someone they knew who had failed at an interview because of some random, often nonsensical reason. You would think we were embarking on some kind of mythical and outrageous hurculean quest. My wife even found some random person who had her believing that she would need a document that she couldn't get, didn't apply to our case, and could have even caused trouble for us. John cut through the noise and rumors and guided us down the right path for immigration. He told us what was real and what was rumor. He helped us prepare exactly the correct documents and evidence. He preped us for our various interviews. He even guided us through fixing some errors that the US government made in our case. I also moved twice during the process and changed companies 3 times. John helped handle the paperwork associated with that. I absolutely recommend John. We followed John's guidance through all the immigration noise and relied on his expertise. We had the privilege of having John Ting as our attorney to file our application for U.S. green card via spouse/immediate relative (I-130, I-131, I-765, and I-485). John and his team are simply amazing as they made the filing process very simple and streamlined. As a first step, John set up a teleconference to understand our case and answer any specific questions. Subsequently, he walked us through the overall process, timeline and list of required evidence/documents tailored for our case. The walkthrough was very insightful and transparent, and we felt comfortable and confident regarding whatever was needed from our end. Next, John’s team set up an online file sharing system for us to upload our documents/evidence -- which worked seamlessly. All our uploaded documents were thoroughly reviewed by him and his legal assistant and they followed up with us on any evidence/documents we missed. The reason we say “thoroughly” is because the follow-up questions were very detailed and in-depth. Once the evidence/documents requirements were satisfactorily met, his team prepared the immigration forms and we were then requested to visit his office to review. Everything was printed out before we arrived with minimal changes needed to a very thick pile of forms! Subsequently, the forms were promptly submitted, and we are now confident and looking forward to receive the positive news from USCIS. John will also be helping us prepare (and will physically join us) for our interview with USCIS. All in all, we were extremely happy with John and his team’s professional handling of our case and always felt that we were in good hands.
