Marjorie is a no-nonsense, compassionate professional. She goes above and beyond to get things done and does it with such gusto you wonder what that tornado was that just passed you in the hallway! An ugly divorce with a psychotic ex-wife and a beautiful child that was being used as pawn, she was filing for full custody. Marjorie stood by our side, gave us the best advice and represented us even on occasions that we were unable to appear in court, due to being out of state. We maintained custody of the son, we now have our legal visitation and even though we still have to deal with the psycho ex-wife, we keep it to a minimum and enjoy the time we have. We can't thank Marjorie enough for all the effort and determination she put in to help keep this family together. And to add to it all, Marjorie is a lovely person with a beautiful personality. A real Texas spirit!

Marjorie is smart, compassionate and caring. She knows the law and is experienced in all aspects. I have worked with her the last 3 years on two separate cases and she impressed me greatly. Most family law cases settle out of court and she has great expertise in mediation and settlement issues. Although, Marjorie impressed me the most in the court room. Finding a family law attorney is important but finding one with court room experience is hard to come by. She truly cares about her clients and fights for you. She successfully defended a frivolous law suit(s) brought by my ex-husband and protected my parental primary rights and continues to do so. After a divorce and several modifications over the last 7 years (and working with different attorney's through the process) I have finally found an attorney that I will ALWAYS hire in the future.

I hired Ms. Maxwell after three different changes of venue and multiple lawyers all whom I'm had varying degrees of success with. I'm not sure I can adequately express the degree of professionalism and competence that Ms. Maxwell provided. My case was handled in an expeditious manner and she was attentive to all my concerns and questions. Marjorie handled my case that kept dragging on for years. She came in, took over the case, structured highly efficient and bogus litigation proof decree that changed our lives. Not only did she put an end to nonsense litigation but made sure I did not get tangled up in another fruitless for my children petition.
