Patrick has been my attorney since 2012-2013 when I first applied for DACA. Since then, he has been handling all my Immigration matters. I would highly recommend the services provide by Gee & Zhang, after (until recently) having had to attain their services for the past approx. 12 years. It was a privilege to work with Mr. Cypert and his team over the years, who worked diligently and tirelessly throughout my applications within the US immigration process - walking me through and successfully attaining everything from my former F1 Student Visa Status and later employment based H1B Visas, to finally applying for a successfully attaining my US Green Card. Mr. Cypert and his team's professionalism, honesty, patience, and efforts to see my applications through the various obstacles and challenges were exemplary. During a very stressful time, a colleague recommended Gee & Zhang to me. They lived up to their reputation and both James and Grace were excellent. They were very friendly, responsive and professional and went out of their way to resolve my issue as quickly as possible. Retained them for green card application, other comments are correct their fees are high. However, that's not my main issue with them. The service level unfortunately does not meet the price being charged. During the submission process I had to correct several mistakes their paralegal made on the USCIS forms which lengthened the time to prepare documents for submission. Additionally, a RFE was requested by USCIS for a form that should have been submitted initially but wasn't. Again this delayed processing of the application. The lawyer working on my case left the firm, the person that replaced him was not great to work with. Would not recommend this firm if you want your case handled with meticulous care and attention.

I had a great experience with Mr.Patrick! He is very professional and understands the laws of immigration very well, I was very impressed with his services, he is easy to reach and answers all your questions promptly! am very happy! Now I am a permanent resident of the United States!

I came for NIW process and it was very good experience Then we applied for the Greencard for me and my wife … the process was good however I learned later on it was very overpriced and unnecessary redundant forms/steps were added to increase the cost I kind of blaming myself for blindly trusting them after successful NIW and I recommend you to take second opinion when getting legal advice from them on next step of any process, it might be not 100% fair.

Handing our case over to Mr. ORourke was the best decision my wife and I could’ve made. What another law firm couldn’t do in 5 years Mr. ORourke pushed through within 1. I now have my permanent residency all due to the help of this law firm. We never lacked communication from the assistants or Mr. Patrick directly. I think so very highly of Patrick O'Rourke! I had worked for 15 years with 5 other law firms wasting time and money on a difficult case. Patrick was professional, honest , explained the law in a way that made it easier to understand. He was available when needed and responsive. There did not seem to be a way to solve our problems, but Patrick took the time to think our situation through with creativity. He was willing to personally go downtown to a courtroom that did not involve his case to speak to a judge about our case. He quietly and firmly convinced the judge to use their authority to solve our problem. He saved a whole family from separation! A Hero indeed.
