If I could give bonus stars, I would. I began a custody case in December 2020 with a different lawyer who couldn’t communicate nor advocate for me, in fact offering options as a solution that went against my safety & best interest. I sought the counsel of Ms. Sealy and from the first appointment, I felt comforted by her calm, matter-of-fact demeanor, ability to listen sympathetically while clarifying what is and isn’t relevant in a case, and her vast legal knowledge. Her communication was great- expeditiously responding to every call or email and looping me in on any developments. I hoped to have an attorney I could just put my trust in, and my wishes were granted. When me and my wife decided to file I-485 Application, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status ( Green card through marriage) we tried to do it ourselves but it wasn't as easy as we thought, the better option was to find an immigration lawyer. After weeks for searching on the internet ,friends recommendations and reading reviews we had a short list for lawyers that we wanted to choose 1 from, we made a 2 consultation before we got to see Mrs. Norma. The first 2 consultations wasn't that good, they hardly give us useful information that we don't already know, most of their answers was Yes, No , or yes you can do that if you want!! with no clear Answers but Norma was different way different. I was surprised when she gave us a lot of informations, she was open to answer all the questions and adding extra information that making every answer more clear , she appreciated that we tried to do it ourselves and she said if you want to give one more try yourself with the extra info that she gave us but our decision was made during the consultation that she is the one that can handle our case. After She got our Case I saw a person who is passionate about her job, paying attention to all details, organized and she had a wonderful secretary (Antoinette )and they are always on the same page and both have updated information about our case ( they were really organized) Following up with us in each major email from the immigration and she was making sure everything was submitted on time. This process is long and sometimes stressful. She was supportive in that too, she was an encouraging person. There is payments option for the process ,even the fees are not expensive for such a long, sensitive process like this.
