Totally different experience from the one I had last year. They have now a website that actually works and you get all the necessary information and then require an appointment and go there to get the job done.
The best part, it all worked prefect so far for renewing my Egyptian ID card. Planning to send my sons to do the same and take advantage of the new system.
Thank you to Mr. Khalid who helped to complete the form, and thanks to Mrs. Nabila Makram and President SISI for pushing to implement the changes.

What can I say , this is the worst consulate I have ever been to. A disgrace to Egypt as a country and its people. My wife passport was sent for renewal and it’s been over 6 month , no one replies, no one answers phones , no one replies to emails.. this is a big joke. No respect to others. I can keep going on and on and it won’t be enough with the amount of frustration we have till today. Shame on you!
