Edit: t I’m formerly “Amanda Smith”, and I’m sure everyone involved is aware how awful my case was handled. had to obtain new representation due to the lack of any actual response or work on their end. Rick Carter is kind and helpful, but Ciment Law is essentially a bankruptcy mill. No attorney actually speaks with you— you have to constantly request to talk to whatever attorney will answer. They couldn’t even give me the correct payment % on my ch.13. Also, every piece of information they gave me about divorce and selling a home during bankruptcy was STRAIGHT UP wrong. They wanted to make the divorce lawyer and realtor file motions lol that’s literally their job— they will charge you for every individual motion— it’s in the contract that their retainer doesn’t cover anything after getting the bk started. The SAME retainer fee with a legit bk attorney will INCLUDE all motions (I switched to Liza Greene with Greene Law)

It was well worth the time and money. They kept me informed every step of the way and provided great tips to help with debt management. Although I hope I don’t have to, I would use them again!
