I found Hendershot Cowart P.C. online in my search for representation. I had met with a few other attorneys and hadn't found the right fit. I was impressed with Trey's professionalism, attentiveness to my needs, and his knowledge of the legal ins and outs of my situation. Then I found out this Trey's Christian faith is an integral part of his professional life. This was also important in my decision to use his firm. Richard Weaver is a lawyer other lawyers consult for sorting out complex issues. Knowledgeable, detail oriented, thorough and provides understandable feedback and context. And he's prompt!

We recently relocated to Houston, Texas and the Weaver law firm came highly recommended to us. We needed assistance with reorganizing our companies in Texas as well as finalizing an acquisition of a commercial building. With an aggressive goal to close the acquisition by year end (a 3 week time frame to work with) Mr. Weaver was willing to take us on and expediently helped us with numerous consultations and contract reviews. I can say with confidence he is one of the best attorneys I've ever worked with and I've worked with quite a few in various transactions. Mr. Weaver is prompt, professional, knowledgeable, intelligent and simply knows his stuff. His expertise in the area of real estate law allowed us to pull together a solid contract that protects us the buyer in numerous ways. Reached out to the firm for a management agreement review. Communication from Mr. Henderson was great at the initial stages. I paid their fee to have my agreement reviewed; Mr. Hendershot was very professional and knowledgeable when providing commentary on the changes and amendments he felt were required. The following day I had a lingering question on the agreement so I sent an email to Mr. Hendershot and called the office. I was told he was busy and would return my call. I called a total of 3 more times over the span of a week, and was told he was in meetings or busy, and that he would return my call. Long story short my email was never replied to. Spoke with his office secretary a total of 4 times, and was told my phone call would be returned. I never received a single call back. Maybe Mr. Hendershot was exceptionally busy that week, and I hope I was an anomaly. However, I cannot recommend his services as all communication ceased after I paid and had my agreement reviewed. I hope others have a better experience with him and the firm.

Weaver is a solid attorney. But don’t pay the consultation fee if it’s with another attorney of his. Not worth the money.
