I am totally confused with the reviews, I have called them numerous times for Info and always spoke with someone or they had called me back within a few days , honestly even emailed questions and they responded back fairly quick , and as far as the cancellation I have never had to , but why would I , Like I said I don't understand where all the negative comes from , trust me this company is awesome , had them for years with no issues my whole family uses them ,

Never had an issue getting ahold of them. Never was overcharged. Luckily, never had to call for any defensive reason. 5 years in and not going anywhere for now.

So far 5 stars for prompt assistance in my questions. Never had a problem with billing and even with a cancelled account. I am currently dealing with an incident and they were very prompt and professional. I haven't done the interview yet with detectivees and have a meeting Monday. I was forced to shoot someone recently and I hope I'm satisfied with their services. I'll update asap

After reading these reviews about the poor customer service, bad billing practices etc. I think I will look elsewhere! Not worth the hassle! Wonder how good the "law team" is if this is how to operate?

update: Us law shield contacted me and helped me after I left a message a second time. Ended up with a more positive experience afterward! Impossible to get your membership cancelled. Rude representatives who do not care about you unless you’re looking to buy a membership. Not a big fan. They came to my CCL class looking for people to buy their product, if I knew it would be this hit a headache I would have never purchased from them.

We bought a one year service on December of 2020 and never received any communication of renewal. Somehow in February 2022 they decided to charge my card again without our approval. I had paid off that card and hadn't used it in a year so we didn't know until April 26th they put the charge on the account. I contacted them telling them we did not authorize the charge and didn't even know they had done this until today when our credit card company contacted us about missing payments. I asked for a full refund and they refused. They will only prorate it because they said we were covered. We didn't know we were covered because we didn't authorize the charge so how can you keep all my money? If I ever decide to have a company protect us like this again we will never use this company. Their customer service is ridiculous and they make charges without you even knowing. If I could give them a -10 star review I certainly would!

Had them for a few years. Called and canceled at least 3 maybe 4 years ago because I almost never carry. My wife just asked me about a withdrawal from my bank account for TX Lawshield...they have continued to debit my bank account even though I cancelled. Based on the other reviews, this is their standard practice. Effing lawyers, worst crooks of all. Do not fall for this scam.

I've been a member for close to 10 years. I just let my membership renew each year but never needed to use it. I was cleaning out my wallet one day and noticed my card was getting pretty old. I reached out to them via email and phone a couple times to see about getting a new card. I was not able to reach them and never received a call back or email response. I stopped auto-renew rand let my membership run out. Now I'm getting emails, phone calls and letters letting me know my membership lapsed and how important it is to stay covered. Not there when you need them but they are all about correspondence when they want money. They sell 24/7/365 emergency support but can't contact me about a replacement card after nearly a decade of membership loyalty? What a joke. No thank you US law shield.
