Lanier appointed a very unprofessional , incompetent,uncaring, inconsiderate lawyer to my wife's probate case.She makes % error on my settlement, if "I" didn't catch it , I would have lost out on over $20,000 .Lanier took $1,000 fee that I'm entitled to. Lawyer negligent w/mandatory legal req's., missed deadline, double charging, incorrect charging, etc. Karen Seranno( senior legal coordinator) at Lanier backs up Deb Whyman in e-mail, saying Deb is doing everything required of probate. This matter was suppose to be done Oct,31st. Today is Feb. 29th. Karen Seranno might want to rethink that one. Sent Mark Lanier a registered heartfelt,semi -emotional letter concerning this miserable ongoing matter that I'm going thru, unnecessarily. She used my retainer as leverage to get "statement" signed.I signed. Today a month later, why isn't it closed and where's my retainer. All because HIS firm appoints an incompetent lawyer. I've suffered enough. All this and nobody can have the decency to reach out to me . Why can't you people show a little consideration and human decency. Please take a serious look at this.Put your feet in my shoes. I'm trying to get thru my grief. I could have done without this. Why does corporate america have no heart? Respectfully, John Valk.
