My wife and I consulted and eventually hired Daniel E. McCarty Jr. to complete our Estate Planning documents. These were Last Will and Testament, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physician and Statutory Durable Power of Attorney. We were very satisfied with the professional manner in which Dan addressed all our questions to ensure we were comfortable with the content and process. He was very attentive to the precautions needed in this COVID-19 era and we met with his witnesses in the office parking lot, with masks, to sign all documents and address any additional questions. Finally, Dan drew up two new documents for us, HIPAA Release and Appointment For Disposition Of Remains. Informative, courteous, not condescending, empathetic, honest, truthful, straightforward. Talked in layman's terms. Made recommendations but made it clear it was our decision regarding each document. We communicated both by phone and e-mails. We highly recommend Dan for these types of documents, especially Last Will & Testament! If we need his skillset down the road, we will definitely make contact with him for his advice.
