Today is a very special day for me and my husband, he passed his interview and will become a Law Permanent Resident. I want to thank attorney Angel Rivera and his immigration team at the Gonzalez Law group. I recommend attorney Angel Rivera and his team everything went as he prep us! Thank you!

I googled and read what type of services the Gonzalez firm provides, so I decided to call them. I speak to the receptionist whom first asked me where I got their number from, and to confirm the number I dialed, so I did. Then she questioned what I was calling for. I told her I had a small business related issue. She puts me on hold to make me an appointment, but returns to tell me she spoke to the attorney, and says to me, that they are unable to assist me. I never explained my situation to the attorney, but was denied a consultation. I don’t get it!

I found immigration attorney (Angel Rivera) to be unprofessional. The attorney was late and clearly did not value my team. He spoke on mute without realizing it for a considerable amount of time and seemed upset when I asked him to repeat himself. He then proceeded by calling me by the wrong name (because it’s evident that it doesn’t matter). When I asked if he could please provide more on the process besides what is already available on his firm’s web page, he responded by telling me to not disrespect him. He proceeded to raise his voice and then disconnected the call. That was my consultation experience. A ~10 minute call (~2 minutes of which he spent on mute) and no answered questions. Extremely disappointed. The firm decided they had performed to the best of their ability and did not issue a refund or deem it necessary to assign another attorney.

En el día de hoy pude pasar mi examen de naturalización y estoy agradecida con la ayuda del abogado Ángel Rivera y la firma González Law Group! Ahora solo me toca mi ceremonia de naturalización estoy muy contenta por este día tan importante en mi vida!

My experience with The Gonzalez Law Group has been awesome. I visited the office for the first time in 2019 and I have no regret. Even when my case was delayed due to covid, they will always send text message to me every month to give me update. Talking to my attorney was very easy anytime I needed to make some enquiries. Si quiere perder su dinero vaya entonces con estos que dicen ser abogados casi tres años para resolver un caso y nunca han echo nada de nada los llamas y te dicen te devolvemos la llamada y nunca te la regresan ahora para cobrar el dinero sin son los primeros números unos en estafar

DO NOT TRUST THIS LAW FIRM, go elsewhere! Also, they are claiming any negative review is not a client found in their system. I first hired this firm a year ago, they advised me not to file or prepare an important document that was needed to be filed and told me to wait for any next steps. I didn't hear anything from them for the remaining time, even as myself and my wife would call to confirm and check in. A year later, DAYS before court, they informed us they needed this document done and we're asking for even more money after we paid the agreed contract balance! Unfortunately, while we were waiting nothing was done on my case. I gave them all the documents they requested and we paid the FILING FEE as requested two months before my court appearance. Only to find out in the office days before court, they still didn't file anything! Even though we paid them the filing fee and confirmed they had everything they needed at that time. Because of this, it's led to a delayed process in my immigration case. There have been multiple miscommunications, almost every time I make an appointment with this office, no one can find me on the schedule when I arrive, and I end up having to wait around an hour or hope to get squeezed in. After we informed them of termination, they refused to listen and kept calling both my wife and I when we stated in the written termination letter not to call anymore. We were also never informed that our original attorney we met had left the office and we were to be appointed with someone new. Nor did they mention it during the exchanges through out the year. The new attorney was not updated or familiar, let alone prepared at all in regards to my case yet he was supposed to represent me in court days after my wife only just met him. He also came up with new proposed plans and demanded we decide 48 hours before my court appearance. I never met the new attorney myself. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. After we informed them of termination they refused to honor our wishes and said we had no other option and then demanded we send them documents that we already filed with them, 24 HOURS before court! These documents were collected and as I mentioned, we paid the filing fee two months before my court appearance for the attorney to say he never received them. Even after we said they were terminated! So I am to appear before court, entrusting a law firm who never filed the application regardless of them confirming they did and us paying the filing fees and Im still dealing with their extortion! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! They lie and extort you, they're unprofessional and will not prepare for your case. I am expecting a full refund as they did nothing with our services! - E. Cortes
