My attorney Shardé Marks was awesome. I received updates in a timely manner as well as she made sure that I understood every step of the process. She was very pleasant and professional over the phone. She made sure that I received what I deserved.

I have been pleasantly surprised by Godsey Martin Law Firm. Their professionalism is above measure and their compassion and understanding has put me at ease. My contact, Kennedy Godsey, has continuously shown sympathy and care during this whole situation and has been a strong and courageous voice for me and my situation. From the beginning, I requested that I not be treated like a number and that constant communication with me is vital and so far they have met and sometimes exceeded my expectations. Length of time to receive the settlement check is ridiculous. Once settlement is finalized, it takes 5-7 business days to receive the settlement check in the mail, so I recommend picking up your check if possible. Once the settlement check is received and deposited, it takes an additional 7 days to clear through their clearing house. I wonder if the doctors and the lawyers are waiting on their 33.3%? My guess is no. There is nothing speedy about the process. It would be nice if the firm was more forthcoming about the process from intake to settlement including the amount of time it takes to actually see your money. I think clients would appreciate this information during the intake process and I believe it would eliminate clients expecting a speedy payout.

My review is based strictly off my experience with Sharde Marks, she is a Godsend! From the moment she received my case she stayed in contact with me, she is very thorough and makes sure you understand the value of your case and gets nothing less than that. Her dedication and her commitment to her cases is such a breath of fresh air. Know that if Sharde gets your case, you’ll be treated fairly. Communicate on a regular basis and never wonder why your case is taking so long. And if you ever reach out to her with an issue, she will handle it quickly and efficiently.
