This woman is horrible. We hired her on because she was more affordable. I have had primary care of my son since he was 3 to 4 years old we decided to try to make a better life for ourselves and move to an that offered more opportunity for myself, and and knowing everything that his mother has done or has done, and how hard she’s made everything she try to take my son away for me and give them to his mother he was 14 years old. I’ve had him since he was a toddler this woman is an awful person, and I hope she is doing horribly, especially after she keeps robbing people of their money and their children.

This attorney is negligent and ignores her clients !!! I do not recommend this attorney under any circumstance she should be disbarred!!! - we’ve been trying to reach This attorney for weeks with no reply !! She showed up and was very responsive for the payment then after payment was made - negligent behavior and no sense of care for her clients in need of a divorce.

Amelia represented us in our divorce. From start to finish I think it was six months and we did everything from home. It was over the top convenient and easy. None of the other attorneys in Houston could help they all kept blaming Covid Amelia took the keys made phone calls coordinated everything and called me when it was done. If you want a turnkey worry free divorce this is hands-down the attorney for you!

Amelia Rodriguez was assigned as an amicus in my divorce. She repeatedly ignored the negligent behavior and irresponsible conduct committed by my ex-wife towards my children. She is strictly pro-mother, even when the mother's poor parenting skills threaten the safety of the child. If you are a father, especially a black father, facing a custody battle, do not go anywhere near this attorney and protest if the court assigns her to your case!

We hired Amelia to represent us with a divorce within our family. Our family member was willing to simply go through a “no-fault” divorce proceeding, but the other party basically wanted everything and had falsely accused our family member of actions that would supposedly lead to culpability and therefore be “at fault” for the divorce. Amelia was extremely competent and professional, readily available for consulations, and calmly reassuring our family member that the other party’s case had no merit. Long story short (and it WAS long due to the other party’s lawyer) the other party lost the case. I have no doubt that this was due to Amelia’s preparation, calm demeanor, and professional ability. Her being bilingual also helped a great deal for our family member. We are grateful for Amelia’s great work in our case.

I used her 1 year ago. She never returned my calls my divorce dragged for over 1 year. Her secretary was very rude. I finally got my file and she didn't do anything. She should be disbarred. My new attorney helped me and in 2 months my divorce was complete. Amelia couldn't even get that for me. She was never on my side I felt. I stressed for so long she is the worst attorney I have ever dealt with, horrible experience. I should have read her other reviews before I hired her. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Stay away from this lady. She cares nothing for you.

Amelia Rodriguez should be ashamed of herself for her complete and utter lack of professionalism. As a fellow Hispanic, I take great pride in giving my business to our community. Unfortunately, it seems that Amelia is simply interested in taking advantage of people and their money! After months of phone calls that went unreturned I finally had to show up in her office to demand my file. When I returned for my file her poor secretary confided in me that she did not understand why my case was being treated this way. Stay away from her...you have been forewarned. There are other similar posts about her on other sites. Too bad I did not see these posts before I hired her.
