Would never ever hire this lawyer for anything at all. My family member was assigned this lawyer because they couldn't afford one. Locked up a year and came to jail to see them one time. Very pompous and smug. Real snooty and felt he could talk to us crazy because we are poor white trash. Never took the time to explain what he was saying when it was obvious nobody understood what he was saying. He never had a strategy or a plan of any kind. "Hey you gonna take the three years?" That was his idea of defense and strategy. I've had probably 8 different lawyers in the last 15 years and Mr. Williford was by far the rudest and also the least competent attorney I've ever dealt with. Ever!. That was my experience.

I know Mr Register can be forgetful sometimes, but he’s been good to me when no one else would help. He’s funny, smart and fun to work with. I do not have a lot of money, but Mr Register was willing to work with me. Yes, you might have to wait and you might have to call a time or two to catch him, but he’s showed up for me when no one else would. Thank you Jerry.

Took several thousand dollars and never finished the case. Communicated poorly and told several stories. How to lose a case?...Hire John Williford! UPDATE! I think everyone here should all sue him! Also, turn him into the State Bar Association. I certainly am! He told the opposing council in writing that we were broke/ had no case? He revealed personal information we talked about in his office with opposing council. What an unprofessional scumbag! Thank goodness I got a new lawyer in time! One that understands the law.! Beware!!! we he hired him for Family case and he just stole our money. Did NOT work but did nothing and wanted more money we had to quickly hire another attorney, WE ALMOST LOST OUR CASE BECAUSE of him. I have 4 other lawyers and judge that said they did know who he was for this case nothing was file nothing was done. Don't hire
