If you are looking for an honest-to-goodness-down-right-tenacious family law attorney, LOOK NO FURTHER! Attorney Scalise and his team of counselors and advisors are worthy of D Magazine! Amid several life changes, a situation was brewing that I had no idea regarding my care of my aging mom (with early onset dementia). As a result an APS case of exploitation was being charged against me. As the situation began to escalate due to self representation, I knew I urgently had to seek legal counsel. I searched high and low for attorneys for counsel and to represent me- paying monies for unsuccessful, ill advised counsel. Meanwhile, APS investigation was relentless with their accusations. As my mom’s only child and fulfilling her wishes to age in place, we were in the valley of decision in the process of retaining an attorney of which I was not confident in his abilities. On that same day from a Google search I stumbled on Attorney Scalise, called and spoke to his efficient secretary, Debbie who got the message to him straight away. Minutes later he sent me an email stating ‘although you may have retained an attorney, I’d like to hear the facts concerning your situation. Maybe I can help give direction’. Upon speaking with Atty Scalise, I dropped the other attorney like a hot potato and retained the Scalise Law Firm! So glad I did!
