This review comes from the perspective of — for lack of a better description— “the stepmom.” From the very outset, my husband and I had a good feeling about Chris. And not because he sold us on the idea that my husband would win his very complicated Modification Case — that promise was actually never made. What he did do, though, is communicate with us. Listen to us. Advise us. And his knowledge of the law put us BOTH at ease that my husband was doing everything he could to put his son’s best interests first. No matter how big or small our concerns — and there were hundreds, many of which were very serious (even when outsiders didn’t see) — Chris always listened, took a step back to see how they would impact the big picture, and then translated how they could or would (or even not) apply to case law or the outcome of our case. Chris was never dismissive, especially with me (when other lawyers might have been because I was “just the stepmother”) and that validation was huge for me. Truth be told, Chris’ value went far beyond his legal knowledge. (All lawyers should know the law, after all.) But the differential with Chris was in how he applied it. His professionalism — with us, with the judge, with the other side — was pivotal to the outcome of our case. Chris was always respectful, even when he didn’t agree with us, and he conveyed a sense of conviction and determination that gave us hope. There’s little doubt in either of our minds that he knew the future of our 15-year-old was hanging in the balance with each step he took, so we are grateful not only for the outcome of the case, but for the future of possibilities he has helped give our family!

I thought I had a simple agreeable divorce case, then my ex's lawyers decided to drag things out and push for more than 50%. After 6 months with no progress, I sought new representation and found Chris. He is a fantastic lawyer and saved my case. Within a couple weeks, I felt like my case went from despair to well in-hand. Chris knows the law, he isn't afraid to stand up against unreasonable demands, and he's a shrewd negotiator. He kept me well informed throughout the process, covering all my options and giving recommendations on how to proceed. In just over one month, he had my ex back at the negotiating table and agreeing to terms I found very fair and acceptable. I highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any legal needs that arise.

Chris fought hard and won an uphill battle to get primary custody of my 15 year old son, who wanted to live with his mom full time. Throughout the case he was able to weed out the irrelevant and stay focused on the key evidence that would really help the case. At final trial he presented everything so well that the judge really had no choice but to rule in our favor. In particular, his closing argument was remarkable; it was amazing how well he summarized the mountain of evidence we had been wading through the last several months. This was my third round of litigation in 11 years, and I wish I had hired him the other two times. Hopefully I won't need to, but I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Chris Harding. Hiring a lawyer for the first time comes with an added stress of not knowing what to expect. Chris earned my trust right away with his compassionate personality and clear honesty. He is always accessible which was very reassuring when I had questions needing to be answered. His professional expertise turned out to be spot on as I am very happy with how things proceeded.

Mr Harding is a very honest and upfront attorney. I think he uses his time very effectively and is able to get results. Our case was a long shot and didn't involve enough damages for him to make it worth while. However, once he had uncovered every stone, he gave us a full refund of all our contingency deposit. I would have been satisfied with half that. Chris is very communicative and tells you all the pros and cons of every option. Would highly recommend!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Chris! We had 3 previous lawyers for our custody case, and never looked back or elsewhere once we hired Chris. Before having the pleasure of meeting with Chris Harding, I previously had three attorneys who continuously put my case in jeopardy. My custody battle was complicated and daunting.
