I have used Joseph Russell for both criminal and civil cases over the years and I have been pleased by the outcomes of every case. On the criminal cases the charges were dismissed or he got me the absolute minimum sentence allowed, and on the civil case I was being sued by the state of texas and Mr Russell got the amount down to the lowest possible and made sure I was given credit for payments I had made already but never showed up as being done so. I would highly recommend Mr. Russell for any legal issues in Kaufman county.

My girlfriend hired him about 6 months ago. The divorce papers have been filed at the courthouse but he’s terrible about communicating updates to us. We called the court to get all the information we have. He is a nice guy but we would not hire him again based on his lack of communication.

I hired him in 2012. My case to this day still isnt closed. My child support information was never turned in by him to the AG and after several years and failed attempts to get it cleared up and fixed, I am having to hire another attorney to clean up his mess. So ridiculous.
