The only reason that I am giving Carlson law firm a one-star rating is because the communication is extremely poor. There is never another lawyer or individual who can speak to you about your case or answer any questions that you may have. It was really a horrible breakdown in communication. Also I did not like the fact that because my grandchildren were minors it was not explained in the original communications that they would be considered for less and how that process worked and so I was a little bit disappointed in that. I didn't believe that everything was done that could have been done to ensure that they did not have future damages. I felt as though these are little children they are expected to recuperate or recover and did not take into consideration that one of my grandchildren had seatbelt underneath his neck and across his shoulder. These are scars that will forever be there as a reminder of this accident. They are both currently to ride in the front seat. The agent for us read a statement that was accepted into the file that was a definite lie. The word of an ER professional stated that the children were laughing and giggling and playing on tablets or cell phones and none of those things were present or in our possession the night during our ER visit. I will say that they fought extremely hard for my son and I'm assuming that was because he ended up having to have surgery so his injuries were more massive and quite naturally that came with a lot more compensation for the firm but anyway I believe if they would do a better job with communication and not making excuses for not having someone that can answer questions once the compensation has been issued they would probably go a long way.

I love working with them. Jessica Torres was vey patient and explain every question or doubt that I could have. The remuneration was really good and with a good time manner. I really recommend this firm.

I dealt with Langdon Southworth and his team during the presentation of my claim in the BSA class action lawsuit. Langdon and Isabel ALWAYS answered my calls and responded to my emails within 24 hours. Both were very helpful in getting evidence in my case, and helping me navigate the forms and procedures required. I am a personal injury lawyer myself for the past 40 years, ran a large office, and know quality when I see it. I saw it. I strongly suspect this team helped me make the most of my claim.

The team at The Carlson Law Firm have gone over and above any reasonable expectations in prosecuting my claim against The Boy Scouts of America. Langdon, my attorney, Isabel, his paralegal, as well as Dan and Julie their assistants, have always been available to help me. Not solely out of professional obligation, but because they are really concerned about me. Reviving a horrific past is so very painful and I’m not sure I could have made it through this ordeal without their compassionate help. These people are much more than mere legal counsel, they are like family to me.

I was in a motorcycle collision a few years back where I was rear ended by another motorcycle. I was referred to Carlson by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys. Not ever dealing with a law firm I had thought I was going to be represented by Russ Brown. What I didn't know was they are only a referral company and that cost me $2,500 out of my final settlement. My experience with Carlson was fine at first, then I signed the papers and things changed. Firstly, I was being represented by a Carlson branch that was 135 miles away so I never saw the firm in person. Then once they spoke to the other insurance company it was a big push to get me to sign and agree on the final settlement. Not being poor I wasn't in a hurry. They did not like that. Next came the rude calls and harrasment and I mean rude, then the threats about suing me for the money in the settlement. I told them it was like they were churning and burning clients and to my shock he said yes, that's what we are doing. Then I knew I was just a pawn for quick money. This was not a law firm that was in anyway a zealous representation for the client. This won't ever happen again if I need a lawyer. My advice; never use a referral firm and only hire a lawyer that somebody you know knows the firm and their ethics. And sit down in person with them. I have since contacted in person Russ Brown and they apologized and said they will remove Carlson from their referral list. If they did it I don't know. There are wolves out there, be smart.

i was treated with friendly professional service. They kept me up to date on all that was being decided and answered my questions so that i could understand them. i would absolutely use again if need be.

Langdon, Tim, Isabel, Dan and Julie have all done an outstanding job. Especially Dan he has been extremely helpful and very nice.

There are five people that have changed me forever with there kindness and understanding handling this incredibley sensitive case. Langdon, Tim , Isabel, Julie and of course Dan. Without , Dan i may not of had enough courage several times to continue with the case. Thank God for the whole team. My mind has gotten the healing it needed to grow up and become a real adult.
