Charged over 10 grand, $10,000 for a custody case that went to court for a total of one hour, never once objected in the court room, never once brought up anything in my favor, never did anything but show up. Not only the above but I had 3 people handle my case, they decided to assign me the pregnant lawyer who went on maternity leave shortly after my case went to court, then whoever was supposed to fill in never did anything until I kept harassing them by calling on the phone, which they charged me for, then they have proceeded to state that they still have not finalized anything and that I owe them another $2,600. Horrible!

My father recently updated several of his legal documents through Vicki Carlson at The Carlson Law Firm. I highly recommend this firm and Vicki in particular. She is warm and friendly, and she put my father at ease throughout the process. She competently discussed his options with him and made certain he understood every part of each document. The receptionist always greeted him and offered him refreshments. He never had to wait more than a few minutes past his appointment times. The office was clean and tastefully appointed. The staff was dressed professionally.

I been going through some though financial times after taking in my niece and nephew upon on my on 4 children and wife. Since 2011 times started to get harder and harder with finances. I was seen by another law firm via my military legal advice. That law firm turned out to be more about getting over the client than they where to help the client. I was later pointed in the direction of The Carlson Law firm where I was first contacted by Mrs. Roxanne who put me in contact with Mrs. Sonia Baker. Sonia Baker has went over and out of her way to help support myself and my family in this time of trouble and tribulations. I would like to take the time and publically state how awesome our (wife and me) treatment was from the day one of open the doors. If you need legal help and not sure who can turn to without worrying if the law firm is going to work in your best interest I highly advise you speak with someone in The Carlson Law Firm immediately. Your office staff used to come into the local coffee shop I worked for. You were all so nice, I even remembered your drink orders and had them ready when I saw someone from your office come in. When I got into my car accident and decided it'd be best to hire a lawyer, I didn't hesitate when I chose the Carlson Law Firm to represent me. This was a mistake. Representation? There really is none. I was given a 1 year timeline for my case, and it's just now done and over with 2 years later. You know why? I asked them to give me the rest of my case to finish (bill pay out of my own pocket) because it had taken 2 years for them to "gather and pay my medical bills". I only went to one hospital and one chiropractor that I paid for out of pocket. Would you like to speak with your lawyer or their legal assistant? Good luck on that one. One day I called every hour after months of trying to reach someone to finally hear from my lawyer who had to dig up my case that was obviously not being worked on. The legal assistant Monica, is a horrible human being. She is very unprofessional, and down right rude. She's hung up on me a few times when I asked her to leave a message for my lawyer and then never relayed the message to him. I told my lawyer two years ago that I refused to talk with this woman, and she is one of the reasons why I tried to leave this firm and move to another. For 10k, I thought I would at least be treated like a human being. This woman talks with so much attitude directed at you on the phone, her goal is to treat you this way and to make you feel like crap. I hastily signed the papers with this firm just so I could put them behind me. My final recommendation is to move on to another firm and to avoid the Carlson Law Firm, all it's offices in the Texas area, at all costs.

The people at Carlson Law firm are very professional and helpful. Mandy always to the time to answer all my questions (even the same question) with patience. She explained everything in terms that were clear. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic experience with an attorney that went above and beyond what we expected. We used Steve Walden to help us with the adoption of our daughter. Steve was the best. His enthusiasm and user friendly attitude made a difficult process very easy. I would recommend Steve and his team to anyone who needs legal help with whatever issue they may be dealing with.
