After over 27 years of marriage I was served with divorce papers without any previous knowledge. I was complete caught off guard. I was scared and didn't know where to began. I received many recommendations from family and friends and began the tedious task of locating someone I could trust and have confidence to represent my interest in these proceedings. Having seen a plethora advertisements via newspapers and billboards my anxiety increased the more until I happened upon a sign of Ed Laughlin. I immediately set up a consultation, long story short I was assigned to Mr Nicolas J Gaunt. I knew within the first meeting that he would represent me with well. He was very sensitive to my concerns but focused on my needs. He made me feel like I was important and though the process would be time consuming and challenging. Throughout the entire process he went the extra mile to keep me updated on all the different scenarios and options at hand. I never felt like I was a "File in the Pile" of the many cases he was handling. I was more than just a client. He saw to it that all my needs in the case where heard. His exceptional execution in the court room and previous meetings with the other lawyers allowed me to receive not only fair justice for the years in the marriage, but respect which no court of law can give. I would highly recommend him to my family, friends and colleagues. There was no compensation that could compare to the personal care given to me in one the most devastating times in my life. Mr. Gaunt is, simply put, awesome!!! He did my divorce and made the entire process smooth. It was a very trying and draining time for me, but Mr. Gaunt brought a sense of calmness to the process. Mr. Gaunt does not cut corners and is not emotional, which is very assuring. If he doesn't know, he will tell you and find the answer quickly. Mr. Gaunt did a fabulous job on my case today. Honestly, he was well versed on the facts of my case.
