I had called Jeff Blackburn in Amarillo who is one of the best in Texas and he recommended Rod for me. I didn't know him from Adam but he handled my case extremely well! In fact, once the police department found out we were using him and he began talks with them they began dropping charges one right after the other until I had no charges at all. I didn't have to go to court but once at the beginning to set a court date but he managed to avoid going to court at all and got all four charges dismissed! His secretary, Cindy, is extremely knowledgeable and kept me well informed of what was going on. I had two other attorneys who were on this case and each of them wanted me to accept a plea bargain. Rob has won some very impressive cases in Lubbock other than mine that wound up in tremendous monetary payments for his clients and one was against the Lubbock Police department itself.

I've worked with several attorney's in the past for various issues but I have yet to find an attorney so willing to listen and one that actually CARES about the outcome of the case. He is NOT AFRAID to speak his mind to you, or the D.A. If you want an attorney who will 'tell you what you want to hear' Rod is not the guy to go to but if you want an Honest attorney who will tell you how it is no matter how bad you messed up- he's the guy to go to. One thing is for sure, he gets things done. If you are still not sure if Rod is the BEST CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY IN LUBBOCK just google his name- that should be more than enough info to convince anyone. He is not cheap but he is the Best. I know in Criminal Law you get what you pay for. "A lawyers opinion is worth nothing unless paid for" His is worth every dollar. Rod Hobson is the Best!!! Period.
