I have been in a high conflict custody case for 14 years now. I have had to hire multiple lawyers throughout the years and Holly Draper far exceeds any attorney I have ever hired or experienced. Hiring the wrong attorney can be extremely costly. I don’t care what the hourly rate is. If your money is mismanaged it can cost you significantly more than hiring a more expensive attorney who knows how to do their job quickly and effectively. I quickly received bills of what had been used in my retainer with very clear explanations of how my retainer was used. I received email updates on what she was working on with my case so I didn’t have to sit at home and stress that it was being worked on. With family law due to court room time restraints it’s important to find the most appropriate facts to present in a case. When you are concerned about your children’s well-being it can be very emotional. During my phone interviews Holly never interrupted me while I gave her details that I felt were important regarding my case. I felt heard. She then gave a clear and honest expectation of what she felt needed to be used and what I should expect as possible outcomes. During the hearing Holly showed to be fully prepared for my case. She thoroughly read all of my case documents and was prepared with appropriate case law to back up arguments. I am so beyond impressed with Holly and recommend her without hesitation. Holly has represented me twice in a custody situation and then with a modification. The case drug out but that wasn't her fault. She did everything she could to have a decision made as quickly as possible. She always kept me in the loop and did due diligence. I can not say enough good things about Holly!

How many family law attorneys can say they argued at the Texas Supreme Court and won? Holly Draper can say that and she took down a fancy high priced firm from the city. Holly was my attorney for about 3 years. We both wish it was a shorter term. However, Holly and her team fought for me successfully all the way to the Texas Supreme Court. In these 3 years she was a voice of reason, clarity, and set proper expectations of the road ahead. At no point did she ever over promise and under deliver. With Holly you get a seasoned attorney and someone who has been there done that. She’s honest about your options and isn’t going to sugar coat anything. When we appeared in court, Holly was very well prepared, organized, laser focused, and knew the details of the case extremely well; she didn’t hold back in court. Holly is also an amazing writer. I was very impressed with her ability to write lengthy briefs that were on point and clear. Holly was also able to coordinate multiple outside organizations to support our position and bring light to our case. Her connections were critical. This is no easy task and navigating these waters can be a struggle. Holly and her team are also different from other attorneys. They care, they fight the good fight, and they don’t have huge egos. Save yourself the time and effort and go to Holly first.

We hired Holly to help us with a somewhat complicated adoption of our granddaughter, which started in Kansas City. Holly gave us an extremely reasonable price for her services, and earned over 10 times that amount ! She was fast, efficient, responsive, courteous and really knew her stuff. Me and my husband were seeking custody of my goddaughter, who lived with us. We were in a crazy legal situation, but Holly helped us focus on our next steps. By the end, there were no surprises and our custody hearing took less than 10 minutes. While Holly is pleasant to work with, and very kind, I did not have a good experience. I actually had referred her to a friend, and then had to get back to my friend and tell her to stay away. My case was supposed to be easy, however it wasn't. It started with Holly filing an unsigned document. She blamed it all on the judge, which might be the case, but after going over the documents I realized she left many things blank (where my ex works for instance) and it seemed like she'd ask the same questions over and over again. I think she overlooked my case, and didn't spend enough time getting everything in order because to her "it is such a small amount" of money we were dealing with. I barely get any child support as is, and we live pay check to pay check, so an extra $160 a month is no small amount to me. If you're rich, and have a big case, maybe she will spend more time listening and getting things right. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of one, is because she did offer a refund which I thought was very kind and something she didn't have to do. I'm now left to either hire some one else, or figure this mess out myself, when I was told it would be super easy and simple for her to do. I also won't be getting my money from my ex for quite some time... I'll be looking elseware next time I need attorney services.

Holly represented me in my case for custody of my 4 year old son Roman. She did a fantastic job! She got me everything I was asking for and then some. She was very well prepared and her performance in the courtroom was nearly flawless! I was very impressed to say the least! She made the other attorney look like a complete amateur and disproved every lie that his client and him tried to pull off.
