Kent Starr is not your average attorney, and that is precisely what my son needed...an extraordinary, caring, diligent fighter. We had originally engaged a lawyer who had been a prosecutor, but who had limited defense experience. My instinct told me to keep looking; and after searching the internet for over an hour, I came across Kent and read review after review about what set him apart in a big field of North Texas lawyers. I made the call. He shared a common faith outlook and was easy to talk to. The fee was a bit of a hurdle, but I knew that a complex case required experienced, passionate representation. He is caring and compassionate, and won't back down when he's fighting for justice. Kent Starr is one of a kind, and we were blessed to have him in our corner!

After meeting with a few attorney's in Collin County and walked out of each one feeling overwhelmed. My son reminded me Starr represented him a few years back with a great turn out and told me to contact him immediately. I am impressed with Starr's Energy, Honesty, and most of all Patience with all my questions and concerns. He is as real as they come and extremely responsive Text/Phone. I am pleased with his work and the outcome of my situation with minimal time out of my busy life. I only have the best things to say about Mr. Starr. He made the process easy and was very confident with him from the get-go. There’s a reason why he has great reviews because he gives great results. Me and my partner had an interaction with the police which resulted in me going to jail for assault, there was never an assault just a misunderstanding. We filed an affidavit stating we entered into mutual combat with each other (which was the case) Mr. Kent took it up to the intake attorney and even spoke with the junior DA, they were wanting to prosecute and I would have had to do probation and a lengthy anger management class. No thanks! Mr. Starr was able to get it stopped at the source, he told the junior DA he was taking it to trial if they wanted to play games and next thing you know the intake attorney completely rejected that any charge be filed with the DA’s office, so I was able to not just have my case dismissed but flat out REJECTED! What a great outcome, this couldn’t have worked out better for me and my family. I had someone by my side to advocate for me and I will always recommend and use his services if I ever need them in the future!

The best attorney Collin county has for a county that highly frowns on drug and alcohol cases.. A professional man but he still has that small town simple man personality. He solved my case durring covid so that i could stay home with my wife and not do any jail time other than what i had already done. The court appointed lawyer was trying to get me 2 to 20 years. I was initially charged in 2019 for theft and Starr law helped me get the case dismissed. He was very responsive and straight to the point, no gimmicks. I will advise anyone looking for help with cases to contact him ASAP.
