My husband and I were in a horrific accident that resulted in a near head on collision that completely totaled our truck and travel trailer. The insurance company for the driver, Elephant insurance, refused to pay some of the medical bills to include plastic surgery for the scars on my face, and repeatedly ignored my calls and emails over a two year period in an attempt to run through to the statute of limitations. I couldn’t find an attorney that would take my case. All with excuses, but with only one week to the deadline, I searched again and had the great fortune of finding and retaining Ms Hazel. All I can say is, wow. She jumped right in and investigated every possible avenue to get this situation resolved, to include my own insurance company that withheld funds. This is a gal that knows what she is doing and not afraid to go after those responsible. I’m in awe, and will absolutely recommend her to my family and friends. I hope I’m never in a situation like this again, but if I am, she will be my first phone call.

After returning from a vacation in Texas in a wheelchair, I started to panic about how to deal with surgery and other expenses. The staff set up a phone appointment the next day with Marilee. She was knowledgeable, confident, and very personable. Marilee immediately submitted a representation letter to the insurance company and spared me from having to answer their calls. Marilee supported me continuously over the course of a twelve month divorce. She kept me on track to gather the necessary data need, even though I tended to procrastinate because this at times this was unpleasant. Her organizational skills and documentation of case data was outstanding. In various depositions, mediation etc. she outshined my ex wife's very highly paid San Attorney. In fact, her attorney ask Marilee for documentation in both the mediation and deposition because he was not prepared. I had no idea what to expect going through a divorce, but Marilee and her team helped me get through this terrible time. They were on top of my case and made sure my ex was held accountable for his lieing and cheating in our marriage. They never backed down and we ended up in a Judge trial, after trying to mediate with no Luck, and I was very impressed with their in depth knowledge of my case and being able to catch my ex in multiple lies on the witness stand. She has assisted my with my divorce back in 2010. Everything that I requested I practically got with some few exceptions which she explained why through the case. Now in 2014 I have requested her knowledgeable assistance with my child custody case, and again great help that she has been. She continues to expands her knowledge day by day and never gives up. Marilee and her staff were very responsive to my needs and as a new client, she was able to react to an issue although her calendar was packed. Despite all the evidence and documentation I had on hand, I had a mediator who wanted to believe my wife's untrue story and statements.
