I found Brad Thomas through his awesome TikTok account. As an older Gen X’er, I am usually heavily skeptical of social media platforms. I found the information he posts to be tangible and related in clear, plain speech that those of us who have never dealt with Social Security benefits can easily understand. I found myself methodically watching all of his informational posts over many weeks and they helped me gain insight into how SSDI functions and the considerations that should be made when pursuing benefits. My husband was diagnosed with a disease on the Compassionate Allowance List and although we were somewhat confident he would be approved on the first application, we wanted the security and guidance of an experienced lawyer to help us navigate the complex process of applying for SSDI benefits. Mr. Thomas accepted our case with the complete understanding that he may not financially gain from it. From the initial steps through the eventual approval, Mr. Thomas’ staff were helpful and supportive. They made the complexities of paperwork less frustrating for us. They reached out whenever there was a form or exam that SSDI required and provided clear instructions on how to proceed. We received a call from his office today that SSDI had approved our initial application and that we would be charged nothing for Mr. Thomas’ services due to the disability onset date. While I was fully prepared to reimburse them for their work out of pocket, they kindly declined my offer and offered up their congratulations and best wishes. Its is a rare thing in these days to find an interaction with a law firm that is not stressful in some way. I can honestly say that Brad Thomas Disability is a stand out in its field. He and his staff reflect a refreshing reassurance that there are lawyers in this world who are passionate in their craft and truly do advocate for their clients. Most people already know how difficult it is to apply and go through the process of disability. It’s scary, especially if done alone.
