Mr. Todd Shapiro and his whole team is incredible! Mr. Shapiro was able to win the case for me and get me a favorable outcome!! He was always very prompt to respond to my questions or concerns (Including after hours) which I very much appreciated. He worked hard for my case & kept me informed on the progress. He is highly professional and kind. His office staff was very helpful throughout!! I highly recommend him and his entire team!

Though I am certain Mr. Shapiro was a great attorney at one time, in my experience, it was very frustrating working with him. Mr. Shapiro's responses were slow, emails were not read and/or responded to in a timely manner and/or responded to in a "why are you bothering me" kind of way. I first contacted him in November 2023 and it took longer than needed to complete the divorce due to lack of follow-up, and he did not help with the collection of the monies awarded to me in the divorce settlement. Left me high and dry and asking for more money. My divorce was finally completed in October but not without error and oversight and without collecting the settlement monies. His first paralegal that I worked with apparently left shortly after I signed on with Mr. Shapiro. His second paralegal is EXCELLENT (5-stars for her) and she was the only reason I did not fire Mr. Shapiro early on. All in all though I am very disappointed in Mr. Shapiro's work and his lack of interest in my case, and we never could quite get on the same page--and maybe this was intentional on his part since he wanted things done his way only. Still trying to collect the settlement monies from my ex-wife and have consulted with other attorneys and finding the same lack of interest so my opinion of attorneys at this point are very low. This is the one and only time I ever needed an attorney so hopefully I will never need one again, other than one to help collect the settlement monies!

Be warned, these guys are very unethical. I went with my GF to see about hiring Todd Shapiro to defend her from a baseless felony charge in Collin County. Todd presented a worse-case scenario and so we agreed to hire him initially. He requested $10k, which I paid via my credit card. My GF never signed an engagement letter or any contract with Todd. Within days, we found out that the charge had been dismissed, however when we contacted Todd in order to get our money back, he refused to discuss the matter. My credit card company reversed the charge, however after Todd sent a threatening letter to them, the re-instated the charge. So bottom line is that I am out $10k and Todd worked less than 4 hours in total. DO NOT USE SHAPIRO unless you want to get ripped off.

Please don’t come here. these people only want your money. The “free consultation” was ONLY to tell me that I can’t do the divorce by myself. The nerve.

I was given Howard's name as a referral from another attorney I had used for something else, and the Shapiro Law Firm did not let me down. Both Howard Shapiro and Lisa Jones were always quick to respond to my inquiries regarding my case, (even often on nights or weekends), and they both went out of their way to make sure I was always happy with the decisions I/we made. I was so glad to have their legal advice throughout this case, because they definitely gave me a perspective I hadn't thought of. Thanks to them, I didn't feel stressed even during days sitting with Howard in mediation or court. I was pleased that even after settlements were reached, they continued to follow up to make sure everything was taken care of. In review of the bills, I believe the fees were definitely fair. I had prepaid a significant amount and I am expecting a refund of nearly half.

I can genuinely say that Mr Todd Shapiro is someone who I wholeheartedly recommend. I have personally used his services, as he came to me highly recommended, and I know of at least two other people who feel the same. Expect him to be stern and to the point, but his knowledge and care still comes off as human. I encourage you to do your research, but Mr Todd Shapiro comes with my highest of recommendations.
