I had the most pleasant experience with Coats and Todd. I was very nervous and had many unknown questions regarding my case. After speaking to Mr. Coats, I felt at ease. He always answered our questions with much understanding and never in a rush. Mr. Coats helped us in every step of the way through the whole process. Melissa the secretary was professional and beyond her secretarial duties to help us with all the paperwork and making sure everything was filled out properly and in a timely manner we ran across several problems but she helped us and made sure it was all correct and Melissa was always available when I called or she called back as soon as possible. We did our research and employed Coats & Todd to represent us for my husband, Patrick's' disability case. We were initially turned down twice and had to go before a judge to hear our case. Our attorney, Jason, discovered my husband had been "miscoded" by SSD and he immediately pointed this out to the courts. We won our case thanks to this firm. I want to say that not only did we like Jason, but we especially were impressed with the professional that contacted us to not only tell us our case was approved (we had not received an approval letter so it was nice to hear this from our attorney's office) but she told us exactly the amount of the back pay and the monthly check. She stayed on the phone with us to give us all of the details and answered our questions. She continued to follow up with us to ensure we did receive our check and auto deposit. This was AFTER Coats & Todd was already paid. It is important to note this as they still continued to do their job and make sure everything was done even though they were already paid. We are grateful to this firm and to fine professionals like Tynesha that continued to call us to make sure all was well. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone.
