I've been in the oil and gas "surface land" industry for 13 years. Scott Doggett and his group at Baker Moran Doggett MA & Dobbs LLP are extremely knowledgeable as it pertains to issues regarding rights of public utilities, eminent domain, and the processes associated therewith. Not only do they provide this foundation of knowledge pertaining to such rights, but also serve in the capacity of being very creative in negotiating unique surface land issues. Scott's group has always made a conscientious effort to respect my company's project budgets, while never sacrificing project timing goals.
