Beverly has been a God sent Angel to our family. My daughter is going through and viscous divorce along with a child custody fight. The first lawyer hired for my daughter took a very large sum of money and only made all matters worse. Beverly jumped in to clean up the first lawyers blunders and is trying to set the divorce on a level playing field. Beverly is a devout Christian living the values our Lord set for us all. Very few people actually live up living those values and even fewer lawyers, in my experience. Money is not the first thing on her mind but serving her client. She lives Servant Leadership bringing back my faith in our judicial system. I highly recommending hiring Beverly as your attorney, she has her clients best interest in mind first!!

We hired Beverly after first trying to go ProSe on a custody case for our great niece and nephew. She has been a God send! She is caring and listens to all our concerns. I would recommend her to anyone.

After starting my divorce with another lawyer that turned out to be a complete disaster, I contacted Beverly to complete my divorce. She listened and was legitimately concerned with the well being of my children given the awful situation I was faced with. She was always there to speak to even late at night to provide guidance and sometimes just a listening ear. I was completely shocked to know that she showed up to court to finalize my divorce when she was facing a death in her own family just the night before. She always provided detailed information as to what she was billing for and was straight forward and honest as to what it was going to take financially. She is very passionate about her work, which really means a great deal when there are precious children involved in a nasty divorce.

My story is similar to Doug’s. I actually had a male attorney before I meet Beverly. Ironically, I got this attorney’s name and number through a Fathers for Equal Rights group. Our first mediation, he basically told me I should accept everything she was asking for, which was sole custody and quite a bit of back child support that I didn’t feel I owed. I am glad I had the frame of mind to know that what he told me was wrong, I asked him if he was working for me or her and walked out. Shortly after that I met Beverly through a friend/co-work. I’ll tell you what, she has been a blessing. My ex-wife was a stripper and had a lot of money at her disposal at the time. I worked a knuckle busting job to pay child support and keep health insurance on the kids. I’m not complaining about the work because I have always worked hard but the point is I didn’t have any disposable income to pay for an attorney. After an interview and heart to heart about my situation and my kids, Beverly took my case and worked with me on payments that I could afford. Before I met Beverly I felt that I would never be treated fairly in a family court of law, she changed this view for me. Beverly is very knowledgeable. She would spout off legal codes and the other attorney would have to start flipping through a book to try to find it. There was no competition. I knew when I walked in the court room with her that I would be taken care of to the best of her abilities and within the law. I never felt railroaded by the courts again. It has taken years and a lot of ups and downs but the most important thing is that I received residential custody of both of my children. I picked my kids up 10 years ago and have had them ever since. Beverly has been a God send. I don’t think I would have gotten the kids without her. Beverly went out of her way to make sure I knew that she was not only my attorney but a friend that truly cared about my family and I. One last note, Beverly is not a revenge attorney. She is a great attorney that works within the law and puts the well being of the children first.

In 2008 Ms. Storey took up my child support case simply on the request of an old aquaintance. I had no money, and no chance of winning custody of my 2 children. The mother of my children, a 20 year paralegal who thought she WAS a lawyer, was intending on taking our children from Texas to Indiana. I was desperate, and devastated. My retainer was a ring, and my word. Beverly, a devout Christian, litigated my case against a $450 hour attorney, and his top gun, $150 hour paralegal. She decimated not only my former wifes case, but the legal team, as well. It took me a year to pay Ms. Storey. She never once, asked, or harrassed me for payment. Years later, she again represented me. This time for an agreement of payment on the 20k in child support on behalf of my former wife. Due to adverse circumstances with my son, I agreed to let him move with his mother in Indiana. Ms. Storey negotiated an amicable settlement between my former spouse, her attorney, and the court. Regrettably, and with much embarrassment, I was unable to pay Beverly for her services. She was rightfully upset, but has to this day, remained professional, and friendly. I remember her telling me on that last court date, that my son would one day regret his choice of going to his mother, and return on his own volition. She was correct, as this December, he called and asked to return to me, his father. There will always be those who think they know the law better than their attorney, or those who believe that their attorney did nothing for them. I can attest to the fact that Beverly Storey is an honest attorney, with unquestionable integrity. She is a fighter, and has the courage and strength, to represent you in your time of desperation.
