Don hecker is literally a scam artist. I bonded out of jail and hired Mr hecker as my defense attorney. After meeting with him he told me the gamelan for the defense which sounded great. After paying for Mr heckers services upfront in full.... he did absolutely nothing. He didn't research any details of my case.... he didn't contact me about my case... all he did was reset me 3 times... when the judge wasn't having anymore resets all Mr hecker did was say psi or trial. Now it's 2 days before my psi hearing and still nothing from Mr hecker who don't even have a copy of my psi report which he is legally supposed to have at least 48 hours before court. If you care about the person who is having legal troubles in your life you would be better off with a public defender than this lying scam artist.

What a great lawyer everybody should be looking for him

I can’t understand these bad reviews on Mr. Hecker. His rate is very very low compared to other lawyers. He knows everyone in both Harris County and Fort Bend County. It’s your job to get your case dismissed. For the little money he charges, you go and do your own investigations and make witnesses available. Make it easy for him to complete your case. His quality Is that everyone in both counties listen to him and respect him. That’s how you hire Don Hecker. Otherwise, hire another lawyer and pay 10 times for them to do your investigations. Imagine him a small claim court lawyer, where you bring all the evidence and he approach judges. Plain and simple.

Waste of money . He works against you and never talk to you about your case .

I'm very pleased of how don hecker handled my case would definitely hire him again he promised I wouldn't goto jail and he lived up to that he got my class a dropped to a class c no probation he attended every court date as well.

And that's pushing it. I shouldn't even give him 1 star. He was never around to answer anything. I paid alot of money and my ex who I'm still friends with is now serving 30 years. Don't hire.
