I hired Patricia Jay for a child custody case which my bitter ex refused to let me see my child. Patricia when in to the court room with an elaborate game plan, to make a long story short we walked out of court with the win. I was very impressed with her level of legal experience. I will recommend her to all of my family, friends and associates in the greater San Antonio area. If you want to be on a winning team hire Ms Patricia Jay as your lawyer. You will not regret it.

Patricia Jay was a wonderful attorney for my divorce and custody case! Her and her office staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to me and the case. We encountered quite the few bumps in my case due to the other half not being in the country and out of reach. They never gave up and got done everything needed in order to get him here to close the case. She was even amazing enough to go to court with me on the final court date as it was her birthday. I am very thankful she took my case and made my life as stress free as she did during the situation. I recommend Patricia to anyone that inquires about an attorney.

As a father you all know how hard it is to be able to have a fair fight in a custody. Well with PJ she gave us hope and thanks to her I have my children 50/50. I rushed my divorce against the advice of my former council because my kids and I were living in an unhealthy environment since my former husband refused to leave the house. As a result, I had agreed to several provisions in the divorce that proved unfavorable to me and my kids, including us having to leave the house to start our life over with the clothes on our back and a few old pieces of furniture with him not even paying the kids' health insurance and a minimal amount of child support - again at no fault of my former attorney, all because I just wanted to be divorced. When I went back to my previous attorney to fix my errors, she was on maternity leave and recommended I use Patricia Jay instead. So grateful for the recommendation! She assisted me with lifting a geographic restriction that my ex spouse slipped into the decree and as a result, I was able to relocate back home to my family. Patricia and her team were always professional, courteous and most importantly honest. I never realized how complex and vexing getting divorced could be. Can't put a price on freedom though!

I will start out by saying that, Patricia is not only an AMAZING attorney... she is also very SMART and knows her stuff well. She does not play around and takes her cases on head strong and delivers EXCELLENT. She did what 2 other attorneys I previously hired before her failed to do in the time span of about a week . My case started out simple. I filed for a modification through the attorney general because I qualified . due to a few life changing events. one I had another child, and the other I had injured my back and it kept me from doing what I have been doing for the past 15 years. So I was not bringing in the income I had at one point. Well having a money hungry ex wife who needs money to support her other kids from another man ( who does not work) was not agreeing to my modification! So I hired my 1st attorney who took my money of about 1500 $ and did nothing but show up in court one time for about 30 minutes . We could not come to an agreement so it got rescheduled ..... umm about 7-10 times bc this attorney was either out of town or out for medical reasons. Long story short.... I hired my 2nd attorney. Who did pretty much the same thing...... well he actually answered my calls (sometimes) but never would set a date . I kept telling him I wanted this case closed. and that in the meantime I was racking up a lot in back pay , due to me not being able to continue the amount I was still suppose to pay. , but it was based on what I was making at the time. He did not care... he just kept telling me he had other cases to take care of. THEN I was referred to Patricia! She gave us a free consultation and basically she heard us out and told us that she would do her best to get this case won but she ALWAYS upfront with us. She filed motions for us that neither attorney had done. My case went on for about 1 1/2 yrs, because I was hiring attorney who had no reviews, and took payments. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for. I cannot stress enough that Patricia will do everything she can for you. She comes prepared. She had everything in her brief case. She had the calculation already done, she had all the prior paperwork. She was very organized and ready to work for us. She is honestly someone I would never want o go up against. EVER. Her paralegal was great, answered my e-mails back quick and if she busy she found time to get with me. My case ended up going before a judge and was an all day thing ... because my ex was not agreeing to anything. I will be completely honest, I felt so good when the judge granted our request. It felt even better when I knew my money finally went to someone who deserved it. Whether your case is something minor or major, you get what you pay for. I would hire again in a heart beat. Patricia and her paralegal Lisa kept me informed about all motions and activity that enabled me to keep custody of my two boys. Their dedication to my case also helped ensure the safety of my children, as it pertains to the visitations with my ex. Through out my divorce and modified custody agreement Patricia was transitioning from different firms. Yet she and her team never dropped the ball.

Please beware, I think Patricia was a horrible attorney! I feel that Patricia took major advantage of my elderly mother and I financially (I have proof), lied so much, was rude and unprofessional, treated me very bad, was late from the time she told me to be at court, to go over my case. Patricia's paralegal, Lisa was also a part of a lot of this. Patricia has harassed me so much over these 100% honest reviews and her ego can't handle it. These business reviews are here for a reason and I have a right, to post what happened in my situation. I was sent messages on my Facebook from her on her personal Facebook, that I only had a few days to remove my reviews about her or she was suing me. Patricia had her attorney friend, send me a certified letter that said she is suing me and she also sent that letter to my parents and friends and it says she is suing me for $100,000 over my reviews and she wants my old friends to be "character" witnesses and do a deposition on me, for her. My family, friends and others I have talk to about all of this, think she is harassing me, bullying me and that she is truly psychotic for all of this and for her comments that she posts on my reviews (she has had to take the most insane ones down, which I have screenshots of and it was obviously lies) and she also posted my full name, physical address, phone number and email on public sites and told people to contact me over all of this, which is also insane. I originally hired Patricia because of the "good" reviews about her, but after what she did to me and doing some research on her Facebook, after she messaged me on it, I saw that the "good" reviews were from her friends and other law firm friends, so who knows if they all really had cases with her. Patricia now says, that because I researched her "public" Facebook for proof of what I claimed, that she is now also filing criminal charges against me for stalking. I have all of her emails, texts and screenshots, for proof of what I have said. I hope the authorities and judges see right through her, disciplinary actions are taken against her and she is required to have a mental evaluation, after all of this.

She came highly recommended to me and I highly recommend her legal services to anyone seeking legal representation. She was knowledgeable, prompt and diligent with my personal case.

I am a single mother working for tips after loosing thousands on a back woods lawyer I hired miss Patricia. She was instantly on my case. non stop. She was beyond worth the money for the work she did on my case. She was good about letting me know everything that was going on along with each month letting me know to the dollar where my money was going. Her paralegal was awesome too ..they always got back with me when I had a question or was just feeling insecure. When we went to court she didn't stop until I got what I wanted. It'd be a shame to not hire her I wish I would have hired her from the beginning but I have found my attorney for life and highly recommend her. she's a shark and that's what I needed. Plus her paralegal and herself have quite the personality too they took a lot pressure and stress off of me just by being themselves. She knows her stuff don't look any further. I am very grateful I didn't.
