Mr. Derek Ritchie isn't compassionate yet aggressive, trustworthy nor driven, and adaptable to all kinds of people and situations.Mr. Derek Ritchie's mislead me through my entire case. When I hired Mr. Derek Ritchie's he stated he knew the Judge in courtroom 307 also that his neighbor was best friend with the Judge in 307 and would have my grandson back in my home in 6 months. If not we would do a press conference! Which never happened Mr. Derek Ritchie's failure to coordinate crucial appointments, such as meetings with me regarding court hearing mediations trials. Never use evidence in court resulted in additional delays and expenses I received invoices stating I had paid other seniors attorney. Who were working on my case! When I received a copy of my file he had only file one motion and respond to letter from the other parties. Mr. Derek Ritchie's disorganization and apparent bias towards me never returned my phone calls nor emails. When I email Mr. Derek Ritchie's asking him to file a motion to mofity the original order. I never heard from him there were long wait times for the paralegal to contact you. My phone number was blocked I called from other numbers they block them as well. Unresponsive staff unless its about billing you. Horrible bad customer service, lack of self-service options, and poor product or service quality. Total neglect lack of communication all the way around misrepresentation and dishonesty.

I hired Chase Butler sometime in April/May 2023 for my divorce/custody case. Where I got the quote $4,000-$5,000 If we had a NON Contested divorce. My ex has screwed me over and has been prolonging the divorce and instead of “My attorney” Chase helping me and charging my ex for the prolong of the case he has charged me more. I have had to pull money from savings and borrowed because he has gone from the initial quote to double where my ex has wasted ALL of our times on multi temp order hearings where instead of charging my ex and her attorney he charged me. We finally had a court hearing Jan 17, 24 where things were suppose to be worked out and i am still waiting to see the FINAL DRAFT OF THE DIVORCE AND SEE IF MY ATTORNEY HELP ME OR WASTE MY TIME AND MONEY SINCE IT HAS ALREADY DOUBLED. May 17, 2024 it will be 4 months that I am waiting for my final divorce draft. I will put another review and give current status.

I saw him while I was picked for jury duty heard him speak.(( That client not guilty)) Not everyone accused of something is guilty. Probably why they didn't pick me. Lol. I watch him many times in court on you tube. His mannerisms are superb. If ( hope not) I ever need an attorney , I'll choose him. Keep up the good work and your presence in court. Some of other attorneys have an awful presence and bored..

I speak for myself as well as my granddaughter Chaney Weaver. We can not say enough how grateful we are for helping us win our case. We highly recommend this law office. Very professional and helpful. Went out of way to make sure our case was heard. We got our baby back in record time. This custody battle is over with Chaney getting sole custody of her son.

Well I’m here to tell you that not only do you get a professional team on every aspect of law but you get a team that cares in the deepest way. It was a long journey but Mrs Marvel, Faith, and Adriana, did everything possible to make it the best one. I am forever thankful. Mrs. Marvel truly lives up to her name.

I highly recommend Mr. Bancroft for his divorce services. His family law staff, particularly Ms. Brandy, was extremely helpful, communicative and compassionate. Wonderful experience!

The biggest mistake my daughter made was marrying her now ex-husband. The second biggest was hiring this firm to do her divorce. In 6 months of representation, we never had a single communication from the lawyer. Everything was done with the paralegal. After 4 months of representing her, he still didn't know how to spell her name. There were several other frustrations along the way that I won't go into detail of. Suffice it to say, it was an awful experience at an already emotional time in our lives. The fact that both the Lawyer and paralegal were no longer working at the firm within weeks of her divorce being finalized should tell you enough you need to know about that. We spent the next 4 months trying to register her car here in Florida. Finally got everything needed and found out from the DMV that the VIN number in the divorce decree and POA were incorrect. We needed a form from the court in Texas (Nunc pro tunc) stating it was a clerical error. Called the office to inform them only to be told they could fix it but it was going to cost me. Admittedly, I was not nice when I talked to the managing lawyer (Ms. Cuprit). How do you charge a client to fix a mistake you missed in your filing? I was told that my daughter never caught it either. When I pointed out that was because we trusted the lawyers we were paying thousands of dollars to catch those, I was told ultimately it was her responsibility. And now since her case was closed I had to pay them to file this form. I was told how they were doing it for me at a discounted flat fee as an incentive to do it efficiently and expeditiously. Received one email the next day telling me they had reached out to opposing counsel and she would get back to me by end of day after she heard from them. And then nothing. For TWO weeks. Despite leaving 4-5 messages with the office and writing 4 follow up emails. Literally no communication at all. Spoke to several friends that are lawyers in different states and each told me they've never charged a client to file this form. Checked online and my research showed the same thing (from Texas attorneys...I have the screenshots to show it). Two lawyers (one in Montana and one in California) even went so far as to tell me I should be filing a complaint with the Texas Bar Association. Since I don't know any lawyers in Texas and my daughter's registration was almost expired, I felt I had no choice. I understand if a lawyer/firm that wasn't part of the divorce proceedings were being hired to do this for us....but this was literally the firm we hired and retained for the entire process. So they gave me a "deal" of correcting this mistake for $500! And when they sent the email requesting payment, suddenly they were very responsive to my emails (20 minutes). If I could give zero stars...I would. If you are looking for a divorce lawyer, hire ANYONE else BUT this firm.
