If there was a way to leave more stars I would Ruiz and associates is the best. From the initial call all the way thru the entire process was seem less. Mr Ruiz was quick to respond and find out what steps we needed to take and my paralegal Ms Heather Ramírez followed up and kept me informed in detail thru my process. Thank y’all so much!

Due to my experience with Ruiz and Associates, PLLC, I find it very hard to believe all the bad reviews against them. I am very pleased and totally satisfied with Ruiz and Associates, PLLC, in representing me in my divorce case. From the initial interviews, discovery phase, many meditations, and final court hearing, George C. Ruiz (Attorney at Law), Brandi N. Aguillon (Attorney at Law) and Heather Ramirez (Paralegal) were very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, and they always treated me with dignity and respect. They always had my back and wouldn't let Opposing Counsel strong arm me. Despite roadblocks from Opposing Counsel, all correspondence, calls, scheduling, required legal documents, and filings were responded to quickly and on time. They wouldn't let Opposing Counsel impede what had to be done and was always staying on top of things with Opposing Counsel. The firm always kept me informed and up to date from the beginning of the case to the very end. Due to the hard work of Brandi and Heather, the final hearing with the Judge was less than three minutes. Thank You All for a job well done. Travis E Briggs

Great people and friendly service.

One star is too much. I hired Mr. Ruiz to help defend me in what I thought was a child support Re-evaluation. My ex knew I was moving overseas and wanted more money from me. I had a contract job, which was a temporary job and took on a government permanent job, which I always wanted but was only making $24000/year for first year which was the probationary period. After one year I moved up a grade and worked full time at $50,000/year. Out of kindness of my heart I agreed to pay child support based on $50,000 even though I was only making $24k. The judge said no and increased my child support from base of $70k to $76k. MR.. Ruiz did and said nothing… not one word. I sent him evidence my ex bought two homes in very affluent neighborhoods. One in Stone Oak and one brand new home in Bulverde built to her specifications that cost over $500k. Ruiz never said anything. In fact Mr. Ruiz never returned my phone calls. Before I left the United States I called his office at least 4 times in an 8 hour span, he never called me back. He had discussions with opposing counsel and never told me about it until the court date. He never had a plan. He never took time to call me to discuss a plan. He just took my money. Charged me for filing paperwork and his meetings with opposing counsel. This guy is the worst attorney in San Antonio for family practice. Lastly, after the judge ruled he quit. He said I was the problem. If trying to communicate with your attorney who never calls you back is a problem??? Don’t get this guy!

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! I was like you, looking for a decent attorney to help in a case...then I came across George Ruiz. I thought it odd at first that he had over 230 reviews (most positive) and just about every other attorney had between 20 and 70 but I thought nothing of it at the time. This was the absolute worst experience with an attorney I or my wife have ever had. Extremely unprofessional, the girls in his office seem to get cycled out every other month and they charge you for everything. Now you would expect to pay for most things but it gets ridiculous quick. Want to call the office only to have the lady answer and say "I don't know" or "George isn't in"? You'll get charged for that. Every text message, email and anything else you can thing of, cha-ching! Our case took well over a year and we constantly had to keep the retainer fee filled for him to withdraw from, it seemed like a bottomless pit. He didn't even feel like he was on our side nor did he care about our situation or case and only cared about getting paid. Beyond that he rarely ever communicates with you, then when the court date comes he constantly has to "prepare for court" and charges you a couple thousand dollars even when he already prepared and the court date just gets pushed out a week. If you have any issues or complaints you just get threatening texts. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from this law office. Looking back, there is no way he could have that many positive reviews unless you pay a service to flood you with reviews. If so, that's a sneaky trick, but I have come to expect nothing less from this place.

Terrible lawyer in the beginning. I had to do all of the work and tell him what to do. Also treated me like a bad guy and assumed i was another dead beat dad. Thats the way he treated me. I won my case myself. Wouldn’t recommend.

Brandi and Cassie were so helpful in my divorce! They made everything so easy and quick! They were clear with their communication and helped me through the whole process! I am truly grateful for the assistance I received! Thank you again!

What a wonderful office filled with amazing people. I never thought I’d be able to get through my case if it wasn’t for Mr. Ruiz and Heather Ramirez. She really was such an amazing human through this whole thing. Heather kept me informed, she helped me with any difficulties along the way, it really felt like I had her genuine support. My case was settled in my favor and it was all thanks to this office and Heather! I highly recommend this amazing team.

Super easy process and very fair happy solution through ruiz & associates, Defenitely hope i wont be needing their help again but defenitely will be reaching out again if i need it
