I had a theft case from 2012 that I did nothing about in my early 20s. After learning about a warrant for my arrest while living in another state, I contacted Derek and he had the case dismissed within a month without me having to go to Texas or leave my current state of residence at all. My daughter was represented by Derek Emmons. She was unjustly extradited from New York City. Mr. Emmons took up her cause and stayed in constant contact with me and advised me how to proceed in the collection of various documents from New York City courts and probation department. These documents that were collected proved the illegality of the detention and extradition of my daughter. I highly recommend Mr. Emmons to any person, friend or loved one facing federal charges. Federal charges are complicated, broad in spectrum, and accompany long sentences.
