I want to personally thank The Schafer Law Firm for their diligent work in my grandmother's eviction case!! Her property management company tried to throw a 93 year old woman out of her own home for making viable and valid complaints, and luckily my friend referred me to him. David Schafer wasted no time getting to work taking care of her and my family’s needs! I was already stressed out as a single mom taking care of this while completing my last semester of college to earn my bachelors degree, and Schafer certainly took this stress off of me! I will always be grateful to The Schafer Law Firm and will utilize his services when needed and will continue to refer to ALL my family and friends!

Very dissatisfied with the services and I do not recommend. Communication is very poor, attorney does not follow-up with clients at the important deadlines that he sets which are critical to the case, the attorney did not follow-up with the rental company as promised either. He told us he had emailed the rental company as a follow-up during the process, however, once we fired him for poor service, and requested our records, we discovered that the emails he claimed to have sent to the rental company was never sent. I have text and email confirmations for all of the above mentioned. My husband and I are now fighting a battle with a rental company that we shouldn’t have had to if the attorney would’ve stayed on top of things, communicated effectively with both parties and did his job instead of lying to us. 0 stars.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of David representing us on two real estate/tenant lawsuits. He was fantastic! David was responsive, timely, and explained situations/actions in laymen's terms. He achieved the result we had hoped for in both cases. The Schafer Firm is hands-down who you want representing you for anything related to eviction, real estate, and tenant's rights.

David Schafer is genuinely a life saver. My husband and I faced an unjust eviction suit after our apartment decided to go back on our mutually agreed on payment plan without warning. He kept us from being homeless until the end of our lease and fought to keep a roof over our heads. He is very fair, very honest, and with every challenge that arose he had a solution. We cannot be more grateful to him. If you need assistance in an eviction suit, and a roof kept over your head while you navigate the eviction court system, do not hesitate to reach out to him. I cannot empathisize enough how great he is at what he does. He is responsive at almost any hour with questions and takes great care to keep his clients in the loop and ensure that corrupt property management companies cannot bully you and leave you in financial shambles and unable to rent in the future. If you are worried about legal costs, he was gracious with a very reasonable payment plan for his retainer and he genuinely does care about the outcome for his clients. 100% recommend - I don't think there is a better tenant rights lawyer in Bexar County.

Amber and her staff were great. Amber explained legal terms and questions I had in easy-to-understand language. The process for preparing my will and corresponding documents was quick and affordable.

Mr. Schaefer came to the aid of my daughter in an unusual eviction. I live out of state and was unable to guide her through this unjust court action, but Mr. Schaefer provided his expertise to resolve the legal battle she found herself in.
