I am very pleased with Ashley Butler. She has helped me through this legal process and explained what was happening as it was happening which was excellent. She is efficient, and present for you. I would highly recommend her. Good results.

Ashely suggested that I deserved money the OAG was holding and that I should definitely get an attorney. Went to court and not only did I not get any of the money, I owed more than I was told when I had gone to court on my own behalf 3 months earlier. Five years later, I am still dealing with this nightmare because even though I have contacted the office to tell them I want them off the case, the OAG’s office STILL has them listed as my attorney and will discuss nothing with me regarding child support. I have been through the Bexar County Courts regarding child support with attorneys and alone. Trust me! You do not need an attorney the majority of the time. Had I not hired this woman, who did not even go before a judge for me, I would have been better off! Paying child support and her? No! Save your money and your sanity if you’re in a situation where you need a lawyer who will be comfortable before a judge.

Ms. Butler and her paralegal, Ms. Pena, handled my matter efficiently and effectively. Ms. Pena was quite responsive, getting back to me right away with answers to my questions. The process was very smooth.

I just finished consulting with Ashley Butler regarding a divorce case and was going to retain her (after quite an exhaustive search...), but we discovered a conflict of interest with the ex consulting with her first! Regretfully, my search had to end there....SO. disappointed, but if you are looking for a top notch attorney who listens and advises well, look no further! She was just what I was looking for, and I performed some extensive due diligence. She came highly recommended to me. Wish I could hire her...:(

I have nothing but great things to say about Ashley. Since the beginning of my difficult divorce and child custody case Ashley was upfront regarding cost and time frame my case would take. Ashley and her staff have been amazing though out the whole process. They are quick to respond emails, calls and texts. I had some difficult situations where I needed to get a hold of Ashley in the evening and she was available for counsel. Ashley has been very professional and really fights for you in court. It's been a bit over a year since I hired Ashley and my case seems to finally come to an end soon. Thank you Ashley and your staff for everything you have done for my case!! Ashley Butler was the perfect lawyer for me. I chose her to help me fight my child custody battle and everything came out perfect. I am so pleased with her and her work. She is very knowledgeable in her field, she listens to your wants and needs and fights hard for you. Her office staff are all very kind as well. Her billing staff Ms. Shawna and her paralegal legal are all very professional and polite. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Butler, she is an amazing and hard working lawyer.

I hired Mrs. Butler back in July for my child custody case. She was up front about her cost and the time frame the case will take. Mrs. Butler and her assistant were always available to take calls and was easy to make appointments with. She made a horrible situation bearable with her knowledge and compassion for what she does. I felt confident knowing I was in good hands with Mrs. Butler representing me. I highly recommend her.

I would not hire Ashley, she is very unprofessional and does not invest the time required to understand a case. I requested a lawyer who had experience dealing with military cases, and was rereferred to Ashley. She was very inexperienced dealing with military custody cases, she did not take the time to prepare for my case, showed up 15 minutes before court was scheduled to start. She was more concerned with rushing through my case and provided bad advice on signing an agreement, that further complicated the situation. I ended up hiring another attorney who attempted to conduct damage control and fix all the mistakes she made. I would NOT recommend her.

Ashley is an excellent lawyer!! I am currently going through a custody battle and she has represented me well. She is tough and does not back down. Jessica, her paralegal has also been on top of things and has notified me of any changes in a timely matter.

In distress in the courtroom for my first hearing ever to be had in a courtroom in a big city I had no idea what to expect. I heard my child's name called, several more names called then before you know it...break time. I had no clue what was going on. Mrs.Ashley passed by me with her head held high, with tears streaming down my face I stopped her. Without a blink of an eye she helped me figure out what was going on and this was before I even hired her. For the first time in my life I needed a lawyer. It was a very stressful and emotional process for me but Ashley and Pam helped to assure me everything would be ok, as it was. They made this unpleasant process manageable. Since departing the military almost three years ago, I’ve been involved in a heavy battle with a vindictive ex-spouse using “malicious mother” tactics.
