Not of help..

Do not waist your time with the Law Office of Lisa Vance. She has 100 minions that work for her and they all dip into your retaining fee. I was a client for 3 weeks with the law office and nothing was accomplished. I was charged twice for the same telephone conversation and each time the same plan of action was discussed but nothing moved forward. I was charged for collecting, sending and her review of the things she needed for my case. I was charged for her office’s “many attempts” to contact the Court Administrator to schedule a hearing date. I was charged for documents that she “prepared” but I was never sent an email for my review of these documents I was charged for. Half my retainer fee was kept just for communicating about why I needed legal assistance. Oh and I soon realized that one of her “great”reviews was written by a woman with the exact same first and last name as of one of her minions that was helping with my case.

If you have a non-contested divorce, I suspect you could hire the majority of the attorneys in San Antonio and would be happy with their ability to file the proper paperwork necessary to end the marriage. Unfortunately what I have found is that if you have a contested divorce involving children, one with special needs that it is very difficult to find an attorney that has the skills and experience to address those very different needs properly. Before Lisa Vance, I had four attorneys that had the highest of ratings on the various attorney referral websites but their legal services were on the verge of being unethical and definitely were unsatisfactory, due to their inability to comply with the basic ethical standard of their duty to inform and defend their client's legal rights and options. My legal rights/needs not being addressed by my previous attorneys for just a few months had ramifications that I could have never dreamed of. I was finally given Lisa Vance's name because I begged someone in the legal profession for the name of an attorney that could not only stand up to my ex-husband's attorney but would think outside of the box in looking at what legal options I had available to address the best interests of my sons and I. Lisa is not a cookie-cutter attorney, she knows the law inside and out but that is not what's most impressive about her, it is her experience. The combination of her education and experience, along with her passion for justice, has allowed me to feel safe with an attorney for the first time, knowing that my sons and I rights will be protected. She looked at the unique needs of my situation and addressed them accordingly. She is the first attorney to do that and is the only way that my legal needs are finally being addressed.

$250 Just to talk to an attorney! How do you even know I'll need one? There are plenty of other attorneys who will talk without charging. Thanks for nothing.

Please do not refer your clients to Rashin Mazaheri. I was referred to them by Lauren at your office because I was told this other office could take payments unlike yours. Biggest mistake! They are very unprofessional and will not help. I enjoyed speaking to Mrs. Martinez about my case during consultation, but unfortunately, because your office doesn't accept payments then I could not hire. Thank you for the service you did provide but please don't refer ppl to that other law office. Thank you.

Lisa is an amazing woman. She gave me her advice with great knowledge and empathy, and I could tell she’s invested in her cases. I think anyone hiring her, is doing the best thing for themselves and their case.

This has to be the crookedest attorney in town. She extorted over 180,000 from me in less than 3 months for a temporary order. Her staff was unprofessional and rude and they are master billers but no results. The person they recommended for an expert witness was demoted to a regular witness. The test they recommended for my ex to take to prove up his guilt has never been approved in case law admissible in court. They failed to plead for child support and I'm still not have been fighting to get child support. The other therapist they recommended be appointed as family mediator charged overv 6k for test and concluded zero. All a money making pit of legalized extortion with zero results. Thus allowing my case to extend forever and the billing to continue. This office has mastered the art of over billing and legal extortion. If you want to spend your life savings for a custody case or divorce then spend a week here and they will take it. These other ratings on here are probably bought and paid for. Everybody in town knows this attorney is a legal crook. She has been robbing vulnerable families for decades with complete immunity from the State Bar. Buyer Beware! If I wasn't sure if it was the right firm then how would you be prevue to my case file and open to discussing it in public hoping to garner sympathy by gaslighting me? I have never been happy with your service. I'm not sure who told you that lie. So much so that I fired you as a lawyer. You extorted close to 180,000 in less than 3 months while holding my children as collateral. I filed for my own protective order and yes you presented it to the judge. A 4 month protective order at that instead of customary 2 yrs. Your outrageous insane legalized extortion of communities shows how little oversight the state bar has in Not ensuring that communities are looted by parasitical law firms like this one. You know which families are vulnerable and you certainly take advantage of that. If I could give this firm a negative 100, I would. She has a long list of many years of extorting the community with zero consequences. She pretends to wish people well while extracting even the air they breathe. On a positive note this law firm will be singlehandedly responsible for major and I mean major transformation in how the state bar handles parasitical law firms.
