As a father of a 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son, divorce and the thought of losing my children was extremely stressful. Brooke took my case, helped me win full custody of my children and somehow made a very volatile situation, amicable. I still can't believe the results. Brooke and Virginia answered my calls, promptly responded to my emails and texts. I could not possibly be happier with the results and their efforts. I highly recommend Brooke, for anyone going through a divorce. Brooke and Virginia are on my Christmas card list for life. I'll always appreciate their efforts.

Can charge for initial review and may then pass you to someone else. May be double billed for other to review (seem to lack intra-office communication). Very touchy and may drop you if feel offended...even in middle of effort.

Crooks, liars, thieves, snakes. They will accuse you instead of defend you. They will absolutely take advantage of you and your emotional state if you are getting divorced. They make promises and do not follow through. They will give you a quote then charge you $400+ for ONE fax and then QUADRUPLE their original quote although you have done nothing to increase those charges. They churn their invoices; be prepared to be charged for the same item at least 5 times. They will make unsolicited calls to your cell phone at all hours of the day and try to give you therapist advice, ask if you're okay, etc. then charge you for all of those 30-minute conversations. When you try to get out from using them as your lawyers, you will again receive unsolicited calls from them trying to convince you to stay. Their finance worker/invoice prepare-er will know ALL of what you did/did not receive in the divorce and threaten you into paying your bill with that knowledge--breach in confidentiality. Worst people I have ever trusted besides my ex-husband. They did NOTHING to help me. They will smile and talk sweetly and politely. They are incredibly smart, but in the sense that they will take everything you have and leave you with no peace of mind. My ex-husband STILL torments me by sending mail constantly. They did not help when he took thousands of dollars from me, they did not help when he threatened me, harassed me, nothing.

Amazing service, amazing people, amazing expertise. This combination rarely occurs even in the best of times, so to find it in the worst of times speaks volumes about Lisa Vance and the people she surrounds herself with. Mrs. Vance saved my life, and salvaged my future. Literally. And she did it all honorably which for me is the most important quality a human can display. She gave me much more than an annulment, she showed me that you can be fair, ethical, compassionate, kind, merciful, truthful, and honorable and still achieve the best outcome. She restored my faith in human kind and she restored my faith in myself. I hope I never need her services again, but if I do, I pray that she is available to take my case because anyone else would be hard put to meet the standards she has made me accustomed to.

In consulting with Ms. Vance I found her to be very personable and understanding. She demonstrated her understanding of the situation at hand. She is very knowledgeable about the law and has a direct, honest, no nonsense approach. She shared what to expect and offered an effect outline of her strategy. It is evident Ms. Vance takes her profession and clients seriously. In addition, the support members on Ms. Vance’s team are wonderful. They are compassionate and understanding. They took the time to ensure I received the best service possible. I felt they had my best interest at heart.

I would like to say that Lisa and her law firm did not only help my daughter with her child custody case. But made us feel at home, even though we were 200 miles away from where we live. The compassion and dedication that she and her firm showed for our case, made us feel like we were the only clients she had. If I have any legal needs in San Antonio, I would never hesitate to use her firm again. Thank you for everything you did for my daughter and my family.
