I started my journey with ALLMAND LAW a few months ago… I was told it was going to take about a month to get all the documents and get my Chapter 13 bankruptcy paperwork filed. Everything is done either over the phone or thru a website portal. The communication has been very inconsistent and slow. All military veterans need to make sure you DO NOT allow them to touch your disability. They wanted to take all of mine and leave me with $5 every month after bills. The HAVEN Act places your VA disability benefits in the same protected category as Social Security Disability Benefits. The Act excludes your benefits from the definition of Current Monthly Income found in the Bankruptcy Code. If you do not mention this, they will take every penny of it. I had to fight 3 different times with the attorney (extra 3 weeks) to get it corrected. I called a few weeks ago to get clarification on an appointment and it took them about 14 days to call me back. I don’t trust this law firm and I don’t trust the attorney. I feel like I’m constantly having to do the job I am paying them for. This entire process with this law firm is giving me so much anxiety and stress. Please take my advice and find another attorney who will sit down with you in person and take care of you. I have not met with anyone in person besides the receptionist for my signing appointment. They will put you in a room behind a computer to talk to the attorney to do a video call. I definitely regret working with the ALLMAND LAW Firm so far. I’m not even close to being done but I wanted to hope no one else goes thru what I have been thru. All these 5 star google reviews are mentioning no one that I have ever seen or talked to during my process… everyone who has left a negative review is who actually works here and will handle your case. Update: The case got filed but then dismissed because they didn’t submit the paperwork in time to the trustee for my 341 appointment. I keep calling and they say someone will respond in 24 to 48 hours. No one calls. I email and they say let me know what time is best to call you. I respond and again no one calls back. This law firm is so difficult to work with and I am exhausted from fighting with them.

I did not give a review. Some one did it for me. I paid the fee back in September and they been asking for items over again until January. They told me over and over again they were going to file but have not. Creditor are trying to repo my car after all this time repos
