Let me start by saying that if you are in need of an amazing attorney that will give you over and above 100% for you and your case, Laura Duran is exactly the attorney you are looking for. Her work ethic is beyond admirable. I was blown away by what Laura was able to accomplish for me but more importantly for my son who was in an extremely mentally and physically abusive household. My case in particular was very unusual and extremely complicated. Because of this, I knew that it was definitely going to be an uphill battle. Considering what I was facing, an uphill battle is a huge understatement. Laura did not hesitate one bit and went straight to work. She was right there with me every step of the way to guide me through what can be a very confusing and exhausting Court system. Knowing that I was not her only client, Laura certainly made me as if I was. Laura made herself available regardless of the time of day. Laura is extremely professional. She is sincere in her supportiveness, kindness, not to mention patience. Laura has a fabulous sense of humor which for me was “huge” and made all the difference in the world during this difficult time. However, she will be fierce in Court at exactly the right time and will get the job done. Because of Laura, so many doors opened for my son. Her hard work gave him the opportunities that he deserved, the opportunity to go far in life and for that my son and myself will always be grateful!! There is no monetary value that can ever be placed on what Laura was able to achieve for my son. What Laura accomplished for us was truly a miracle, no doubt!!! I had contacted this law firm for a 15 minute phone consultation to see if they could help me with my probate case. I scheduled 3 times, and only once out of the 3 times I received a call from a paralegal to reschedule the phone consultation. The other times I never received a call at the scheduled time. If this law firm can't keep their scheduled time for a phone consultation, then I can only imagine how bad their service would be if I was a client. And reading some of these reviews I understand why the clients are frustrated with their unprofessional behavior.

My child custody case took 6+ years to be finalized. No divorce, just one child custody. Through out the entire 6 years I delt with constant cancellations, excuses, and lies. I was always given the excuse that my exs attorneys were not responding and they have just been so busy. At the end when they told me they sent my final order to be signed, I reached out to the District Clerk myself and was informed nothing was submitted. The simplest part took a year. Now imagine that! To this date they have still not sent me the final signed orders as promised. I will just go to court and request a copy since that is quicker. I DO NOT recommend.

Went by this office for a consult the staff was nice, friendly and professional all questions answered and they were eager to assist. Will definitely use them for any legal representation in the future

I would not hire Laura Duran. Months of unanswered calls and emails. Months of waiting on an order. Ms Duran told me it would be difficult for me to get my court order if I did not keep her on as my lawyer, resulting in me having to wait about 6 months after our court date to get my order. She spelled my name incorrectly on a our court order and refused to correct after asking multiple times. The only time she took any time to discuss my case was AFTER she was paid on the morning of my court date. She made me feel very rushed. She was inconsiderate of my time and any of my concerns. This has been very frustrating for me as all I wanted was clear communication but she has made this process feel like she took the money I paid and saw me as a number. She will take your money and will not reply for months on end.
