I filed a complaint with the state bar against this attorney for taking my son’s money and not doing any research or work on his case compared to the money that he was paid also for his incompetence and not presenting any exculpatory evidence during the trial. Dennis is a n incompetent trial attorney, based on my son’s experience.

This guy is Terrible as an Amicus Attorney, He gave my Son no consideration as to his request to live with me. He Lied and discredited my son and myself to the court. Instead of stating truths he gave his opinion which was way off track. Stay away from this guy if you value your family. My Son is 14yrs old and he stated he was too immature to decide where he wanted to live. He was appointed by the court and seemed like a nice concerned guy when we met him. But he only spent 1 hour with me and my son over a 8 month period. Terrible work ethic and no morals.

Will not return calls. Family emergency, catching up on work and his phone broken is my favorite excuse. His secretary has all the excuses and has repeatedly tells us the same thing over and over. Months have gone bye. Do not hire him. I feel like I was taken advantage of my broken heart. He tells the District Attorney what you have and now the case have been postponed for months. Don’t know what to do.

Dennis is a Godsend! He is Very honest to his clients and will be your #1 fighter! Julie, his secretary, is also very nice and down to earth. Thank you Dennis for always fighting for what is right and ALWAYS being there for us!

Dennis helped me in so many ways he was my child’s attorney and Dennis went so many times to court and he never gave up or complained. Dennis is very intelligent and honest and respectful. My case was one of the most difficult cases in Bexar County is what the court system told me. Dennis has a heart and takes care of the children and is professional. Dennis won my battle, problems solved and fixed the issues and stood tall and did the right thing by the law and for his client my child. Thanking Dennis can never be enough for how he helped my child, Dennis helped and assured my child that she would have a good life and expressed how important college and school is and encouraged my child to be the best she could. Dennis was recommended to us by another attorney involved in our CPS case trying to adopt our foster child. We signed contract, paid retainer, and everything was fine in the beginning. After a while, he was very difficult to contact (phone, text, email). He specifically told us throughout the process that he was attending the court hearings for his own information. He suggested not filing for standing so in essence he did no work on our part. Now, he won't refund the retainer or respond to communication from us or from the San Antonio Bar Association.

Dennis came highly recommended When our daughter in law left before she gave birth to our grandchild. We were told she was living on the street with the new born. When we found her , Dennis was able to get the correct paperwork to the right people and by the end of the day we had our grand baby off the street. He was calm and talked us through the process . It was a very tense day. He met our family at the hospital and assisted us in getting our baby home safe. Amazing day. So thankful he was there with us.

Do not hire this lawyer. He did nothing to help us get our nephew back after CPS took him under false pretenses.. He basically, just played ring around the rosy with us and our money. He does not return phone calls. We lost our nephew to non-family members due to his inability to fight our case. He relied solely on the child's lawyer to help him win the case but he did nothing but take our retainer fee. Sadly, we may never see our nephew again. So, do not hire Mr. Dennis L. Moreno for your own sake unless you just rather throw money away.

I cannot express the absolute professionalism that Dennis exhibits in and out of the courtroom. He is extraordinary during trial as he conveys his case with ease and passion. His incredible knowledge of the law is displayed consistently throughout trial. He takes the time to keep his client and any and all family members current on the happenings throughout trial. Words cannot express the gratitude my family has for all his hard work and efforts. The verdict is yet to come for my case but I am comforted that he gave my case his full attention and conveyed all the facts of my case in a positive and powerful manner. You cannot go wrong with this attorney.

Dennis was very realistic with us, but when it all came to pass,the case was settled out of court in our sons favor. He got his son! We have nothing but high praises for Dennis.

If you want a pit bull on your side then hire Mr. Moreno and his firm. They are amazing people and you will not find a better weapon in a case that involves you and your children.

I hired Dennis in a CPS case that involved my grandchildren. He came highly recommended by a friend /attorney. My case with CPS was very ugly from start to end and I thank Dennis deerly for being patient, having great knowledge and experience in dealing with CPS. He has a long history with CPS cases and I strongly recommend him. After a lengthy battle, we were successful and I was able to get my grandsons back in my home after being in foster care for over a year. It was one of those unfortunate cases where the "attorney ad litem" was not out for the best interest of the children, it had become a personal vendetta. Dennis stayed on course and remained professional despite the circumstances surrounding the case. I strongly recommend Dennis for any grandparent that that's in doubt to his or her rights to their grandchildren. Personally, I took for granted that the case worker was giving me accurate info and unfortunately it was wrong . I was never mislead by Dennis but I did gain a great amount of confidence in him as the case grew. Try him, you won't be the least disappointed.
