I am extremely pleased with Matthew Gossen. He is a very practical and straight forward person. My consultation with him was enough to want to hire him. I do so immediately! The misdemeanor I was facing was going to inevitably cost me community service, defensive driving courses, and most inconvenient of all… six months of probation. Matthew advised me to complete an aggressive driving course and donate my community service prior to our scheduled court date. Along the way he contacted me several times with new or changing information regarding my case and or his plan of action via E-mail, phone, and text. Mr. Gossens plan was to request a one day probation considering I had taken care of my obligations and was willing to pay any fees required, immediately. This was a huge request since I had a prior offence. He spoke to the judge in a manner that presented me in a good light and the judge approved the one day probation. I paid my dues to the court and I was able to walk away with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I had the pleasure of meeting Matt at one of the darker points of my life, the gory details are irrelevant but suffice to say that I was facing an uphill battle to keep my professional and personal life on track. Matt Gossen came highly recommended and for good reason, he exemplifies the kind of caring and thoughtful service so severely lacking in modern law. Through the close to year and a half that I have maintained a client relationship Matt kept me up to date and fully informed with every step of my legal battle, the results were far better than I could have ever expected and I know it is because of the hard work and determination he has put into my case. However, in that year I have also found a friend and mentor in Matt, a relationship I hope to maintain in the future. Overall, I couldn't recommend Matt enough.

When life gets overwhelming it's nice to know there are people you can turn to for help. It was a bad week, and on top of everything else going on, a police officer pulled me over for speeding. The officer had a bad week too evidently as he gave me 2 tickets adding up to a little more than $500! I had never had to hire a criminal lawyer. After a little online research, I emailed Matthew Gossen because his reviews were very positive. He wrote back within a couple of hours explaining in detail my options. He explained his fee and let me know it wouldn't be necessary for me to attend the hearing, and that he could attend on my behalf. Matthew took care of everything! My charge was deferred, nothing on my record! Matthew knows what he's doing. I especially liked that his fee was explained from the start and the fee was very reasonable.

I was very satisfied with the work he did with my traffic ticket. I value my driver licence very much, it's how I make my living. Mr. Gossen got right on the ball, letting me know everything that was going on, what to expect and was great at keeping in contact from beginning to end. I would highly recommend him to anyone and me myself would definitely retain his services again if needed.

Matthew Gossen has high ethical standards and self-confidence. Not only does he rank highly above average in his research and communication skills in and out of the court room. Matthew Gossen is also a great counselor. We all know defending the accused is not always an easy job but he sure is good at it!!!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!!

I have used Mr. Gossen twice now for speeding tickets , and I have found him to extremely efficient in taking care of my case. In both circumstances he ensured that I did not have to do defensive driving and got both of my tickets dismissed. He did this while keeping me informed at all times about the progress of my case to the point that I never even had to call him about it. I recommend him highly to anyone who has a legal need like mine.

This was only the FIRST time Mr. Gossen represented me: After receiving a state felony, and to my embarrassment having to spend 16 hours in detention, I consulted with Mr. Gossen about what it was that I could do? I was told by others that I would most likely receive deferred adjudication. Matthew told the judge and the ADA;s office my story; moreover, Matthew appeared to know some of the individuals from the ADA's office. He was empathetic towards my personal and legal issues at the time; structured. and professional from beginning to end. The end result: CASE DISMISSED & MY FILE SEALED.

I was being charged for something ridiculous and was looking at pretty serious penalties. My lawyer was able to research and collect more than enough information to help defend my case on top of pursuing the head of a company to write a personal letter on my behalf. All my charges were dropped and even after my case was dismissed he was always available to answer any questions I had or provide me with advice when needed.
