When choosing the right lawyers to represent me only one group stood out as the correct choice and that was David Volk, Frank McElroy and Michael Volk. This was my 1st time needing lawyers and I didn't know exactly what to look for but they won me over from the start because I was really listened to and I never had the feeling of a client being sold on a product. Instead I felt like I was sharing my story with professionals who cared and believed me. I was in a tough situation since I was accused of a felony assault on a peace officer and the possible outcomes really scared me. David, Frank and Michael were realistic about the possibilities but were very confident about being able to help me based on my story. As a military veteran, a nurse and a father I had alot on the line and they never forgot about that and fought for my reputation and my career. I was always included in the process and advised whenever I had questions or doubts along the way. David, Frank and Michael knew that I wouldnt accept anything other than getting the case dropped or a not guilty verdict and they were right there with me and felt the same way. The case was not dropped and the case ended up going to trial. Although the whole process was new to me I was allowed to feel relaxed and confident because they talked me through every step and was reassured by their confident and professional demeanor as well as by their knowledge and experience. At the end of the trial I walked out of the courtroom more than satisfied after a not guilty verdict. Deliberation took about 30 minutes. It was very quick. They were that good. I hated being in the situation that I was in and I don't ever want to go through it again but Im glad I chose Volk and McElroy to represent me throught it all. They got me the outcome that I wanted and the one they said they would get me. I made the right choice and I would absolutely recommend others make the same choice.

I was having a lot of problems with my apartment. David Volk helped me get out of my 13 month lease 3 months early. He worked fast on getting me out of my apartment. A letter sent to the corporate office within a couple of days and I was released from my lease. David Volk was very professional and was very knowledgable. David Volk is an attorney like no other. He reminds me of a Pit bull. My situation was very difficult to deal with, having visited San Antonio for the first time, being an out of state resident, I never thought I would face any legal situation. After a few bad decision's I made over a weekend, I was arrested in San Antonio with very severe charges. Career ending and possible prison sentencing up to ten years. With no criminal history I was afraid, being in the military and in combat, I was actually afraid for the first time in my life. I got all the usual brochures, but I was impressed with the professionalism that David Volk presented, in my eyes, it meant he met business. From the first time I talkled to David over the phone to the dismisal of my case, David was always there, and willing to talk. I would reccomend David to any close friends or family, he means business and will do all he can to represent you.

David and his firm did an outstanding job in all areas. They kept me informed of the process, set expectations and really made me feel comfortable. Even though this was an uneasy situationa nd I was nervous, David and his firm did everything possible to work hard for me an obtain the outcome I desired. I cannot even begin to put my thoughts into words to describe my positive experience with my attorney David Volk. I believe I had a unique situation that began 2 years ago, when I was in trial for DWI. I felt lost, with no clue how to even face this challenge. I retained the services of David Volk to handle my case, and it was one of the best choices I can recommend. David Volk explained the process to me, and was with me in every step of the way. My original case was dismissed by the Judge after the DA kept pushing my case month after month while they prepared their case against me. My attorney during all this time was ready with my strong defense. The Judge finally dismissed my case after the DA was unable to prepare their prosecution against me. Unfortunately after the dismissal, the DA refiled against me (hence my unique experience). David Volk was ready, and fought for me. He got my 2nd case dismissed with prejudice, and the new Judge even apologized on behalf of the DA's office for over-prosecuting me. During this 2 year ordeal, I was never worried because I knew I was in good hands. Although I feel my positive review does not do David Volk any justice, I can promise that he will have justice for you.
