Mr Medley has been a Godsend. He is professional, direct, extremely knowledgeable & experienced. Unlike so many attorneys He’s also compassionate & understanding. Throughout my case he made sure I was informed, understood his plan, the TX family code laws & how they applied to my situation. I was very anxious & nervous that once again my ex’s deceiving ways would prevail as it had done in the past. Mr Medley’s expertise & recommendations relieved that anxiety, I had absolutely no doubts, he was completely prepared, I knew at last I was in good hands! Phenomenal attorney! After using Mr. Medley some years ago for a family law matter, it was a no-brainer to contact him again to represent me for my divorce. I’m very glad I contacted Mr. Medley’s law firm to handle this matter, because my simple divorce quickly turned into a very complex divorce, because of the domestic violence perpetrated by my ex-spouse. Mr. Medley and his staff were exceptional and stood with me every step of my legal process. He and his staff worked exceptionally hard on my case, as evident by the successful outcome. Mr. Medley and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, supportive, and compassionate. My case last from 2012 to 2017. It was very exhausting and awful, My ex husband and his wife tried effortlessly to cause my sons harm while my then current husband was dying from brain cancer. Note: My ex husband did not have a visitation order(on purpose). It was a long case, I was very emotional, and Mr Medley was amazing.....he wont hold your hand BUT I promise if you see him in action in the courtroom he is AMAZING and his reputation follows him! I have a son with autism and he now has lifetime childsupport, my ex husband did not accomplish any items he set out to do.He has no visitation, and has to pay reinbursement of health insurance and half of all private school tuition. In full trial Mr Medley was able to pick apart his entire case! He is AMAZING. We did not start this case by any means....it was done to cause me harm...BUT Mr Medley made sure I was taken care of!! And compared to my ex-husbands attorney fees, Mr Medley was only 1/4th of the cost. I can not say enough wonderful things about Mark Medley. Let me add when the OAG finally enforced the excessive amounts of child support owed, my ex husband hired another pricey attorney who tried to tear me apart. I was told after the OAG hearing by multiple attorneys "Mark Medley trained you well"! I was able to stay calm and kept redirecting all the questions back to the matter at hand "Only child support"! Again, Mark Medley is AMAZING in trial in the courtroom....you would rather have him on your side than against him!!! Especially if you have a child with special needs!! I dont see the stars to rate him but definitely 5!

I was referred to Mark when my custody case and psychological study was delayed by my ex. We sat before just about every Judge before this ended, and in each instance it was clear that his experience and professionalism earned him the respect of the Judge and court staff. He and his staff work hard and Mark is particularly skilled at managing the unexpected opportunities that come up on court- he took advantage of more than one critical opportunity to turn my case around. I achieved sole managing conservatorship which I hear is very rare. Mark was a true advocate and he allowed me to work along side him through a 5 day trial, handing him every record I could find to demonstrate our story was rooted in truth. The services were not cheap, but then again, you aren't looking for a bargain when you are fighting for your kids future happiness. Mark is also a good person with a sense of humor- you will need both if you are in a highly contested divorce.

Seventeen years ago was my first experience having Mark as my lawyer. Before Mark I had been living in a battered women's shelter with my children, going through a very long and rough divorce, but with a decently good lawyer that the shelter offered me. Then my attorney from the battered women's shelter became ill and I was without a lawyer. I went through two other very bad lawyers before I was referred to Mark. Mark was my saving grace. He is like a hammer in the court room and very protective of his clients, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable of the law. Through the last seventeen years I have called on Mark as my lawyer when needed, and referred him to many different people; family and friends. He has always done a great job for myself and those I have referred him to. Mark is the "Superman" of lawyers who is well respected, extremely knowledgeable, and a very good person. If you have ever had a bad lawyer, you know how important it is to have a good one. He is one of the good ones, and the only one I trust to be sitting next to me in the court room as my lawyer.

So I promised an update so here it is! I retained Mark in Feb 2015 and we just finalized mediation today. In a mere 7 months, Mark reversed a terrible custody arrangement that had been in place for almost 5 years. He's truly the best money I have ever spent. He's aggressive and he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable!!! He is very well respected within his industry. Mark will shoot you straight about your case and he is reliable and trustworthy. He's amazing!!! He's truly the best attorney in San Antonio.

Medley is currently working my case and I have to say he gets things done. Upon taking my case, it was in such disarray and very well underway (5 years of litigation underway). Right away he started cleaning things up, setting hearings and didn't mess around with opposing counsel who dragged their feet on everything. I think people need to understand, that their case is not the only case being worked on. When it mattered, Mark contacted me and kept me informed in a timely manner. The relationship works best when he's not being micro-managed which I understand so I do give him time to return calls and/or emails. We talk on a weekly basis and I also work well with his paralegal Lori. We talk over case strategy and he really makes me feel like we are a team. He does cost a pretty penny so if you don't have at least 10k to put down, you may want to look elsewhere. I will tell you that I'm very happy thus far. Mark did an exceptional job of getting the job done. Mark is well respected in the legal community and when a judge or his colleagues see him in court, they know he means business. Since all Mark does is family law for the past 20+ years, he is very good and experienced at it. When he makes a recommendation to the court is taken with a little more esteem. I hired Mark at the recommendation of a friend to help me with a custody suit. I found him to be very effective and knowledgeable and was able to win my case. One of my concerns with hiring an attorney was having my bill run up. I know many people who seem to get taken advantage of financially, so it must not be rare (unfortunately). I am pleased that Mark worked swiftly and effectively and came in dramatically under projections. Mark is an excellent attorney who is compassionate and, most importantly, effective.
