I contacted Colin Hobbs of Gireud Hobbs for help regarding two speeding tickets that a teenage family member had gotten (one was for going at a very high speed). She was actually considering not seeking the services of a lawyer. I asked Colin for advice and whether he would consider representing her; both of which he did, with excellent results. Colin explained the court process regarding traffic tickets as well as the lifetime consequences of being convicted of driving at a high rate of speed. I immediately felt that he cared about this situation and that I could trust him. Colin also explained his fees to me and gave me honest, practical advice. Because of Covid, most court proceedings were being delayed during this period. Mr. Hobbs stayed on top of the tickets and was able to get court dates delayed. He even cleared up a situation where the court erroneously issued a warrant for her arrest. Upon his advice, she took defensive driving and got the lesser ticket dismissed. In November 2021, the high speed ticket was also dismissed due in large part to Mr. Hobbs' excellent representation and due diligence. Throughout this fifteen month period, Colin and his staff were quick to return calls, provide advice, and take effective action. His fees were straightforward and fair & reasonable; he also stuck to his quoted prices.
