I heard he is a good Lawyer. However, he said that he doesn't work on my type of Case. Which was work a discrimination case.

I appreciate how you always were in contact with me through the whole legal process. Every step was clear thanks to your and Heather's constant communication with me. You have been a true support during this traumatic time in my life. You have given me many words of wisdom outside of your legal advice that I hold close to my heart, because you didn't have to be compassionate or kind. The firm took my case with high hopes and expectations. I was injured on the job out in the oil patch. When we get back to the yard after our hitch I’m laid off with a few thousand dollars severance package n unemployment waiting on me. But this didn’t feel right with my injuring not being covered, so I made some calls and Mr. McKinney took my case . So knowing that I had a short deadline to accept or decline the severance package he went ahead took my case only to later tell me there was nothing he was able to do for me. What a slap on the face!!! So no severance and no attorney.. Shortly after this I hired Attorney Gary L . Rodriguez from Austin he was able to at least get my medical care and compensation. Awesome attorney and staff. All though this was a few years ago I just got around to write about my experience . #never no what’s in a shoebox till u open it 😎

Mr. McKinney did a great job since the initial call that was affordable compared to other lawyers in the San Antonio area. I was fighting a major banking/insurance business in San Antonio as they were trying to make me resign due to moving to another state for family medical issues even though I was a permanent work at home employee. Mr. McKinney took the time to listen to my complaint and came up with a letter that I sent to my Manager and HR personnel. After about 2 weeks of PTO and 3 weeks of paid administrative leave the employer’s decision was to keep me employed even though their first decision was to make me quit and advised they would not support my move initially. Thank you Mr. McKinney because of your assistance I am still employed at this time.

In the wake of COVID-19, my hours at work were drastically reduced. For the first time in my life, I had to apply for unemployment benefits, but was denied.
