Scot is both an amazing attorney and an incredible person. He helped me out of a serious bind when I thought not breaking the law would mean that I wouldn't be arrested and charged with a crime I did not commit (well think again - this is Hays Co.). Scot swopped in and had everything buttoned up and sorted out before I could even understand what was happening. If you live in or near Hays or Comal Counties - do yourself a favor and just save his number, in case you meet one of Hays County's "finest" on a day where they got yelled at one too many times by the lunch lady or whatever because Scot is worth his weight in platinum and will save your bacon. On top of just being genuinely a great guy, he is a living lexicon when it comes to navigating the intricacies of Texas law. I hope to never need his services again but hope I do very much hope to get to share a coffee with him again.

Matthew Grove is an excellent attorney and has helped me all the way until the end. He does not know this yet but one day he will know that God is after his heart because he is a righteous and upstanding man that helps people even though his instincts are telling him to do otherwise. He tells truth and how it is regardless what others twist perspectives on. Although I don't agree on the billing practices and it seemed really sketchy on how their billing works which I hope to see a change in, this company received 5 stars purely because of Matt's heart.

I got a DWI in 2017, and covid hit. If you are looking for a typical lawyer who tells you what you want to hear and does crap behind your back and nickel and dimes you without telling you how or why, then Scott Courtney is definitely not your lawyer. I finished my case SIX years after the fact. Scott took the DA all the way to trial, keeping me always informed, and knowing his interests was somehow personal. I ended up with a traffic fine, and I was never charged any extra charges. My gratitude for Scott Courtney can not be expressed enough. Accept my sincere thanks and what I hope will be a friendship.
